First, the penis must be inserted into the vagina. The penis will release the sperms (male sex cell) into the womb. Then, the sperm meets the egg (female sex cell). Then, they fuse together. The fertilised egg starts to divide to make more cells. It attaches itself to the wall of the mothers womb and continue to develop and grow. Soon, organs begin to form and the baby gets its nutrients from its mother through the umbilical cord. About nine months after fertilisation, the baby is born.

The placenta is a part of the fetus (or, earlier, embryo). Out from the belly button area extends the umbilical cord, and on the end of the umbilical cord is the placenta. Placenta and umbilical cord have the same DNA as the developing baby. The placenta is rooted into the endometrium, which is the inner lining of the uterus or womb. So, baby and placenta are both inside the uterus, with the placenta off to the the side inside and the baby or fetus or embryo also inside the uterus but at the center and up against the other side of the womb. The fertilized egg is the zygote. When it starts dividing, it becomes the embryo. When an embryo is clearly human it is called a fetus. These are all gradation stages of the same thing, namely a developing baby. If a woman is starving, and has only 80% of the nutrients she needs in her blood, the placenta will nevertheless selectively absorb from the mothers's circulation until the baby is supplied to 100% nutrition levels. This is nature's and evolution's way of saying that the baby is more vital than the mother. Similarly the job of the father is to fight to the death if necessary to nourish and protect both mother and child. Over millions of years, most species of animals have developed the instinct to take care of their kids even if one or both parents have to die in the process. Only in recent modern times, when life has gotten easy and humans have grown lazy, has there been a widespread habit of killing off the coming generation before it has a chance to live. Even today, only some people kill embryos, fetuses, infants, kids, and older people, but most still have the civilized decency not to.

in the womb, which is the uterus. The cervix is the opening (os) to the uterus (womb). The placenta is an organ attached to the uternine wall, and connected to the baby via the umbilical cord.

Placenta is what feeds a baby as it is growing. Mothers give birth to the placenta after the baby has been born.

No. The placenta, which is the afterbirth, is expelled shortly after delivery. If the afterbirth is not expelled soon after delivery, this can cause serious complications for the mother due to blood loss, possibly resulting in death. Quite often, when the mother is having difficulty expelling the afterbirth, the medical staff will do a firm massage of the mother's abdomen, which facilitates passing the afterbirth.

Baby grows inside the womb (uterus). On the wall of womb is placenta. Between the placenta and the baby's navel (umbilicus) is a cord that takes blood to and from the baby (foetus) for its nourishment.

This question makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! First of all, babies are not born inside the placenta, the placenta is outside of the fetus, and comes out after the fetus (or baby) is born. Babies, calves, lambs, fawns, cubs, kits, kittens, puppies, piglets, etc. are all developed in the womb with the placenta outside of them, not surrounding them. They are surrounded by an amniotic sac, but NEVER the placenta.
