First of all, God is usually referred to as he as he is the father, but this is not really wrong just maybe misinterpreted. Second of all God is the deity of Christianity so i am not sure what you mean by 'tolerate'. In mainstream Christianity, the Devil is named Satan, and sometimes Lucifer. He is a fallen angel who rebelled against God. Traditionally, Christians have understood the Devil to be the author of lies and promoter of evil; however, he can go no further than the Word of God allows. Liberal Christianity often views the devil metaphorically.
