Generally NO, there are exclusions in most policys regarding losses that occur during the course of your employment, but again would depend of what coverage you are talking about, if your rings are stolen while you are at work...maybe....if you drop a plate on someones head while working no, wouldn't be...If you want to provide more details about what coverages you are concerned about I may be able to assist you more.

If I am working as a babysitter and my car is damaged from a falling branch in the homeowners driveway do they have to pay for the damages out of their homeowners insurance?

It depends on whether the homeowners were aware of a potential problem with their trees/limbs. If they knew of a dead tree or limb, there is a possibility of liability on their behalf. The key to this is proving that they were aware of a potential problem, which is very difficult to do unless they have been warned in writing. This is the only way their homeowners policy would cover your damage as well. Otherwise, if it was just a tree limb that fell because of wind, you have no legal recourse against the homeowner. It's just an "act of God" = weather.

Is there a law that makes interior designers have liability insurance?

There is no law that I am aware of that requires an interior designer to carry liability insurance. The party you are working for may require you to carry a liability policy to protect them from any claim that may involve your work. A general liability policy for an interior designer is usually cheap $500 or so per year. You could also purchase a professional liability policy that protects your business from errors or omissions. What sort of liability insurance does one need for a sole proprietor educational services business?

Hi! You will need Errors and Omissions Insurance. This is basically a liability insurance policy that covers you, your employees and the company from claims of inadequate or negligent work. In addition to E&O insurance, you may also need general liability and commercial auto insurance. If you have a physical office and travel from location to location, general liability insurance will cover you in the event of a client or vendor being hurt while working on your job. A commercial auto policy will cover you if you are specifically using your vehicle for business purposes. Last but not least, if you are planning on having employees, you must also have worker's compensation insurance to limit your liability if an employee is hurt on the job. I hope this helps!

What kind of insurance do you need for henna tattoos?

You NEED public liability insurance (if you are mobile) and public liability and buildings liability if working from a salon (or at festivals for your festival tent). you cannot get insurance for BLACK HENNA as it is very unsafe and no-one in the UK would insure you to use it It also helps if you have FULL RISK ASSESSMENTS to cover you in any case of a person claiming. And health and hygiene in your work place is important too.
