Yes! It does. You can make a mask out of two tablespoons honey and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Turn it into a paste then put it all over your face or just on your acne spots. Leave it on over night then wash your face with warm water in the morning. Then POOF no acne.

∙ 10y agoyes it can.just use acne soap twice a day for 2 weeks, then applie the honey,and... BAM! YOUR ACNES CURED! but it doesn't last,so when your acne comes back,just do it again if this works for you.this only works for some people, not many.

The best remedies are: first, keep your skin very clean so that oxygen can get at it (remove layers of dead skin) and secondly, there are special oxygenating drugs such as oxy-5, which are effective. The only way to kill acne bacteria is with oxygen. It is an anaerobic bacterium.

∙ 9y agoThe skin has natural "flora". Flora is a combination of bacteria and yeast in very small colonies. Putting honey and sugar on acne would be a terrific way to "feed" bacteria, especially since most acne/pimples have pus in them and often break open. Try a dab of plain white-colored toothpaste (NOT whitening toothpastes though) like the original Crest. Apply it at night before bed. Wash it off in the morning. It typically will dry up a break out within a few days.
