No it doesn't mater what brand of alternater you use, but in my experience Pep Boys life time warranty alternators are the longest lasting I have not had one come back yet
2JZ-GE Engine # Disconnect the negative battery cable. Wait at least 90 seconds before performing any other work. # Remove the engine undercover. # Turn the drive belt tensioner clockwise and remove the drive belt from the engine. # Disconnect the generator electrical connector. # Remove the rubber cap and nut and then disconnect the alternator wire. # Disconnect the alternator wire clamp from the wire clip on the alternator. # Disconnect the A/T coolant hoses and bracket from the alternator by removing the bolt and pipe clamp. # Remove the alternator bolt, nut, pipe bracket and then remove the alternator from the engine. To install: # Install the alternator and pipe bracket. Torque the bolt and nut to 27 ft. lbs. (37 Nm). # Install the A/T oil cooler pipes to the alternator and install the bolt and pipe clamp. # Connect the alternator wire clamp to the wire clip on the alternator. # Connect the electrical wire to the alternator and install the nut. # Install the alternator electrical connector. # Install the drive belt. # Install the lower engine cover. # Connect the negative battery cable. # Start the engine and check the charging system for proper operation
It depends, if you expect to keep the vehicle for the long term, go for the better one. If you expect to get rid of the vehicle soon get the cheap one.
It makes it heavier. However, a particle is matter (please leave anti-matter and energy out of this ;)).So your question actually is: What does more matter in matter do?
Installing an alternator on a dead or poor battery will cause them to fail prematurely. trickle charge your battery before installing a new alternator. check all connections for corrosion especially grounds.
the question makes no sense, anti matter is produced when energy is converted into matter. no matter what, when energy converts into matter both matter and anti matter is created, and they can unite once more to be converted back into energy, basicly, ther is the same amount of anti matter particles as there are normal matter particles, but that's a diffrent story
Yes, Toyota has no peers in relaiablity and holding value no matter the year
hond ia always faster than Toyota no matter how old is it
Toyota has released a TSB on this . You have to take it to Toyota and have the catalytic converter replaced and the ECM reflashed. And if you have over 80000 miles on it, you also have to pay for it.
Any auto parts store can quote you a price. It really does not matter if you need one.
the alternator serves as the tensioner in atleast the 2.0 engine. I had to replace my belt recently, it wasn't a very complicated matter. Loosen the lower alternator mounting bolt. Then take off the nut on the top left of the alternator. Finally loosen the bolt on the top of the alternator, (it faces you). You can then remove the bolt that runs through the alternator. This will allow you to remove the old belt and replace it.
You have to do the timing belt first, then it's a matter of 4 ten millimeter bolts and an alternator bracket.
If the units have the same mounting locations, are physically the same, and the electrical connections are the same ,the 5 amps won't matter.
The most likely culprit is the shift cable. It is either broken or has somehow become disengaged and needs to be reattached. Good luck
No
The alternator doesn't care. It provides power no matter if the battery is good, weak, or not even there.
As long as the battery is fully charged it will start no matter the condition of the alternator. Eventually the battery will run down if the alternator is not keeping it charged.
no the alternator gives off power it donst matter what takes up the power
