I had to have a giggle at your post, but know this is serious. The answer is no! Children's weight can go up and down and some children (as you know) can eat like they've never had a square meal in their life and the next time you turn around (especially girls) they have no appetitite. So, all during their younger years their weight can fluctuate, but it won't harm them as long as they don't go on crash or fad diets.
