Does modern technology make life more convenient or was life better when technology was simpler?

In my opion it goes both ways. Technology does make life more convenient because if you ever need to look something up really quick you don't have to go all the way to the libary and look for it, you can just get on the computer and look it up on Google, Yahoo, etc. But then again life was better when technology was simpler because their weren't cell phones with so many features and with those features it brings addicition and if someone finds our phone with so much of our personal life in it they can steal our idenity, or find out where you live, etc.

It's funny, I was just thinking about all the advantages technology gives us. Years back (20th century) it took hours, maybe even days to do research. You had to go to a library and flip through houndreds of books, were e now can just google. Also, it can take nearly 10 minutes to make a quick meal, as in a TV dinner, were if you were to make that same meal years ago before the microwaves were worth buying, that would take nearly an hour.

So to answer your question, yes, modern technology does make life more convenient.
