At the bagel company I worked for, you cut the bagel in half, add to both halves tomato/sauce, add peperoni, or whatever, top it with cheese, sprinkle on spices, then bake in the toaster.
So you would end up with 2 pizza bagels.
Same with a bagel tuna melt.
