You are going to get a few posts on this one (but a few) and the truth of the matter is that the percentage of online dating and a good relationship evolving from this is extremely low. Why? Because people need the intimacy with each other that they can't get online. One or the other doesn't know if one is cheating or not. That's only one of the problems and you don't know who you are talking too at the other end. The person could lie to you. It is also a dangerous practice because you just never know who you are talking too. It could be a perverted person and trust me, there are more young women missing from online relationships than you could ever imagine. The police are warning young women NOT to have anything to do with the opposite sex online. You may be on a board and meet some nice people, but that has nothing to do with a romantic relationship.
