I am in garments manufacturing and washing care info. put on labels for the 'rayon - spandex' is as follow to prevent from shrinking or stretching.
Hand wash in cold water
No chlorine bleach
Lay flat to dry (to prevent from stretching or shrinking by heat from dryer)
Cool iron only.
or Dry clean (if its expensive dress and affordable)
put in a dryer
They shrink when you put them in the dryer.
The shirt will shrink.
Put them in the dryer on high. By the way, you spelled "shrink" wrong. :)
YES! I bought a pair of rayon pants that fit nicely but were a tad too long, so I'd have to hem them. I put it in the dryer (d'oh!) and they shrunk so much I can't wear them. To give you an idea the length of my too-long pants is now just under my knees! And the cool, comfy, loose-fitting pants are now like pantyhose in tightness. Wash in cold always and hang to dry!

Your Diesel jeans won't shrink at all if you dry them.

With today's pre and stoned washed fabrics, it's pretty hard to shrink jeans unless you put them in a hot dryer. I f you have a pair of jeans made of pure cotton, (or close to it) you could shrink them, again, using a hot dryer.
