I've had shellac nail polish on my nails for about 6 months. Loved the look and the fact that my nails were dry immediately. But unfortunately I found that my nails started to chip, peel and break and that they are now very short and I'm no longer wearing nail polish. I loved the look but am not willing to sacrifice my nails for it. I wore acrylics for many years, had them removed and went through a long period as my nails grew out and were strong once again. Now, I'm back to square one. Very disappointed but will no longer take a chance. It'll be regular manicures from now on and only for special occasions.
