Unfortunately, some do.
As an Australian living in Australia I see Americans preoccupied by Hollywood while equally blindly following their politicians who care not for them but are only interested in improving the situation for the rich & corporations.
You can tell a country's substance by how they treat their sick, their poor & disadvantaged & unfortunately America has a very bad track record for this.
