Unfortunately, it does not seem like Dr. Q really answered your question. The answer to the question is YES it requires a security clearance.

However, it should be advised that while the fact that the postition requires a clearance and an individual has a clearance is not classified information, both should not be advertised. If you want specific information regarding clearances, I recommend speaking with a recruiter directly.
