Current recruiting policies on the United States Navy are that any individual with a current diagnosis of Attention Deficit Disorder or Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, that is also currently on medication for treatment, is NOT eligible for enlistment. However, an individual with a history of either of these disorders that is not currently taking medication can be eligible with a medical determination conducted by the MEPS doctor and a medical review by CNRC Medical Department.
