I have wondered the same thing. I purchased this camera awhile ago and was so excited to use it, I didn't notice if one came in the box...months later I went to Hawaii and realized I didn't have a battery charger and had to buy one at Best Buy...the guy said to just return it when I got home. When I got home I returned it, but now can't find any charger that came with the camera. I went back to Best Buy and they said it comes with one. But I swear it doesn't because I would have left it in the box... ? The chargers are about $65 dollars - maybe that is where they stiff you?

Otherwise you can purchase a battery charger with tender attachment at Sears for $19.95 and hook up the battery tender to the battery yourself if it didn't already come with one. I have a 2006 883 and just found it two days ago, it came with it.

Your battery pack needs to have a certain amount of voltage to allow your charger to iniate a charge. You need to get a regular 12 volt battery charger and charge each battery individually . You do not have to disconnect the interconnects on each battery. Just charge each battery for about 2 hours on the 10 amp charge and then replug the onboard charger . Eventually it should start charging. Now if you charge each battery and the on board charger will not come on you may have destroyed the batteries and they need to be replaced/
