There is no drain plug on the trans pan. The pan and gasket must be removed to change the fluid and filter.

AnswerTypically there is no drainplug on transmissions. That's where a large drain pan comes in handy.
Loosen the pan bolts slowly, and more at one end to direct drainage that direction.

There is no transmission drain plug. Your transmission uses the same oil from the primary. Draining your primary drains your transmission.
