When you take control of a monster, that monster is treated no differently to one of your own. So if an opponent has two monsters, and attacks with the stronger one, you can take control of the weaker one with Magical Arm Shield. Damage Calculation will be conducted as normal, the weaker monster will be destroyed and you will take battle damage.

Or you could wait until the weaker one attacks, and take control of the stronger one, which the weaker one will be forced to attack. Now it's the opponent who takes the damage.

Can a magic card that deals X damage to a creature do X damage to an opponent I assume not as you opponent is not a creature.?

ok if it says deal X damage to target opponent than deal X damage to opponent and NOT creature. if it says deal X damage to target creature than deal it to the creature and NOT the player. if it says creature and player deal it to a creature and a player ect. the point is you will get a strait awnser if you just READ THE CARD, AND NEVER BEND WHAT THE CARD IS SAYING. ex: if it says get a creature from the grave and you get a instant you are bending the rules (it happens ALOT).

Does the 'Dark Eradicator Warlock's effect work for both players in Yu-Gi-Oh?

Unless stated otherwise, a card's effect only works for the card's controller, and the controller is used as a point of reference to determine who 'the opponent' is for that card's effect. Dark Eradicator Warlock will trigger when any Normal Spell card is activated, it does not matter who did it. He will then deal 1000 damage to 'the opponent'. Regardless of whose card caused him to trigger, it is the opponent of his controller, that takes the damage.

When you play the card Ameba in face up attack mode does your opponent get 2000 points of damage or does that happen when your opponent takes control of your Ameba?

Your opponent will not immediately take damage when your summon "Ameba". It's effect will only inflict damage to your opponent when control of it switches to your opponent's side of the field while it is face-up. So if your opponent uses a card like "Brain Control", "Snatch Steal", "Mind Control", or "Change of Heart" and takes control of it while "Ameba" is face-up, they will take 2000 points of damage to their Life Points. You can use cards like "Creature Swap", "Shien's Spy", or "Mystic Box" to force your opponent into taking "Ameba" and losing Life Points. If your opponent uses a card like "Monster Reborn" to retrieve "Ameba" from your Graveyard, they will not take 2000 points of damage. The effect of "Ameba" will only work once while it is face-up ,so you will not take damage if you gain back control of your monster. However, if "Ameba" is flipped face-down by a card effect, like "Book of Moon", and flipped face-up, if another player takes control of the monster they will receive 2000 points of damage.

Do you also take battle damage if your Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut is attacked in Yu-Gi-Oh?

your opponent takes any Battle Damage you would take from battles involving this card. So say your about to lose 200 points, you can detach 1 xyz material and the card can't be destroyed and your opponent takes all the damage. Its quite similar to the fiend santuary card, only difference is that fiend santuary is a spell card and this is a XYZ monster

In yugioh can magical hats be used for effects trap spell monster effect ie maneater bug or only to be used when your opponant attacks a monster on your side of the field?

Magical hats can only be used during your opponent's battle phase. Seeing as they can't flip their monsters during their battle phase, no. However, if your opponent does activate a spell or trap card during the battle phase, you can use Magical hats and protect your monsters. Overall, yes. You can use magical hats to protect your monsters from targeting effects as long as it's during your opponent's battle phase.

How do you used graverobber trap card?

if you activate this card during your opponent's turn you cannot activated or set the spell card, however if you discard the spell card you get from graverobber as a cost to activate an other card example: you discard the card you get from graverobber to activated raigeki break you still take the 2000 point of damage, if your opponent activate card destruction when you have the spell card you got from graverobber you do not take the 2000 points of damage. the spell card you got from graverobber will retun to you opponent graveyard during you opponent end phase in this case.If you activate graverobber during you turn you can activated or set the spell card you got from graverobber however you will only receive the 2000 points of damage for activating the card. the only thing I don't know is it the 2000 points of damage that apply first before the spell card ressolve, or the spell card resolve first before the 2000 point of damage resolve. if you know anything about when the damage of graverobber is apply e-mail me at( nickid_2000@yahoo.ca) if you set a quick-play spell card you got from graverobber you cannot activate the spell card and the spell card return to your opponent graveyard at the end of the turn that graverobber was activated(you do not take the 2000 point of damage) if you activate the spell card you got from graverobber and the spell card activation is negated you still receive the 2000 point of damage. if the card is an continues card, equip card or field spell card or sword of reviling light the card remain on the field until destroyed. During my turn I activated graverobber to get my opponent ookazi spell card and I have 2000 life point left and my opponent has 800 life point left, then in my main phase I activate my opponent ookazi spell that I got from graverobber who win (in the video game yu-gi-oh championship 2007 for the Nintendo Ds stated that I win in this situation after ookazi resolve graverobber show up in the middle of the screen it said that I win with 2000 life points left and my opponent 0 life point, if I had des wombat face-up on the field graverobber would not have showed up in the middle of the screen)if you know anything if the video game is right or wrong e-mail me at nickid_2000@yahoo.ca This answer abouve his out of date: the only 2 think that his wrong his this: " if the activation of the spell you got from graverobber got his activation negated you still take the 2000 points of damage" the correct ruling his this if the activation of the spell you got from graverobber is negated you do not take the 2000 points of damage, however if only the effect of the spell card you got from graverrobber is negated, you still take the 2000 points of damage. If you take ookazy from your opponent's graverobber while you have 2000 life points left, or less, and your opponent's got 800 points left, or less; if you activated ookazi and your opponent cannot negated the effect of that spell card, it his a tie, the damage from graverobber happen at the same time ookazi resolve. If you have any further question about this e-mail me at nickid_2000@yahoo.ca and make sure to mark the subject yugioh card ruling graverobber, if you do not mark this subject on your e-mail, your e-mail will be ignore. You can also ask question about other ruling not just graverobber. The subject example for Appropriate would be: Yugioh card ruling Appropriate.
