When you're deployed, the computers at the MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) centres are free to use. Stateside, in your barracks or whatever housing you're in, you're on your own to get your own internet access. Dial up, DSL, and cable are available in most, if not all, stateside duty stations.
