Yes, the Lieutenant Governor does receive a salary. However, since the Lt. Gov. usually also holds another post within state government, the salary varies. At present, the Lieutenant Governor's statutory pay is $75,916. However, current Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher (D) is also the Director of the Office of Development and will receive a higher salary estimated to be $135,000 - slightly higher than his predeccessor, Bruce Johnson. Mr. Johnson also held the posts of Lieutenant Governor and Director of Development at the same time.
