Yes, topsoil has a higher humus content than subsoil. It tends to be the layer of the soil food web where above and below ground organisms such as bacteria, beetles, and earthworms live and die. The death and the resulting decay of these organisms contribute to the build up of organic matter. Another word for humus in fact is organic material.
top soil is the first layer of soil which is made by breking of rocks but humus is a type of organic substance which is made by dad decyed.
Higher levels of humus are contained in top soil than in subsoil. Humus is loose, created from decayed organic material, dark in color, and allows air and water to enter the soil.
Topsoil contains more humus.

topsoil is the top layer. its a mixture of small rock pieces, humus, and other organic material. most living things are in the topsoil. rain sinks into the topsoil. it carries minerals to the subsoil (2nd layer)
by the way there are sunlight in human and in soil. ************ Topsoil will contain more humus (notice the spelling!) than subsoil. Topsoil is the layer where most household gardening and food production on farms takes place. The subsoil could be solid clay, which would make the topsoil rather wet after a heavy rain. Or even solid bedrock, with a thin layer of topsoil on top - not really suitable for growing deep rooted plants.
the O-Horizon is the topmost soil so it has the most humus
