There is an old wive's tale that such is the case - yet, clinical studies have not proven such. Your best bet is to have a physician examine the foot lesion and if necesssary prescribe the correct therapeutic intervention (ie, cream, ointment, etc.).

Total hogwash. No ... how unsanitary, too ... apparently it does, check out this link http://www.ehow.com/how_2075188_use-urine-cure-fungus.html?ref=fuel&utm_source=Yahoo&utm_medium=ssp&utm_campaign=yssp_art I would try special Insoles made from cedar wood. For example the Insoles you can find at http://www.Zederna.com.

No. Urine does have a chemical in it (urea) that is an inactive ingredient in many antifungal oitments, and which helps the antifungal agent work by softening the skin and helping get rid of dead, flaky skin. However, urea does nothing to attack the actual cause of athletes foot--fungus. And the concentration of urea in urine is too low and the contact with skin to brief to soften or slough off dead skin.
