If your boyfriend was truly sorry for what he did then you should be faithful to him. Two wrongs never make a right. You should do what is right not what you think or feel what you should do. Never take revenge into your own hands, it never will work and if you do cheat on him out of revenge you will just feel worse. If it is really bothering you talk to him about it. :)
If you want to I suppose. If neither of you want to be faithful, isn't it better to just find a partner who wants to be exclusive?
Just remember that whatever his reputation is, you are building your own. You can show people that it's OK to cheat on you, that you are a cheater too; or you can show people that you solve problems with your boyfriend or that you don't tolerate a guy who cheats on you.
It's really your decision, but 'cheating back' is undoubtedly the very worst choice.

Be brave no matter how much it hurts and kick his hide out the door because you can do much better. If you choose to stay with him he will not respect you and take full advantage of your loyalty.

I guess it will depend to how deep he is involve with the other woman. But in my survey I had found out that most married men who do cheat or have an affair, still loves their wife. They just got tired or bored with their wives, or having problem with the marriage. We will never know what men thinks when it comes to their head, that is why its hard for us to know.
