The faulty approach to study the body:

We study the human body using science, which assumes that the human body is a robot. Science ignores the mind.

Human mind is not an illusion created by the brain. It has anatomical existence.

The Mind:

All the skeletal muscles of the body Isometrically contract and relax as a single unit called Unified Skeletal Muscle (USM), popularly known as mind.

It is to be noted that the USM is common to both body and mind. Thus, body and mind are normally closely linked, both physically and functionally.

Functional position of Mind:

The mind is interposed between our sense organs and our body, facilitating or retarding sensations and thus our reactions to them. Mind, thus acts as a filer and buffer for our sensations. Thus, it enables us to maintain status quo even when our environment is changing continuously.

Therefore, mind would make it impossible to study the human body unless we put it out of action. The study of human body after the mind is put out of action is what we call scientific study of human body.

'I', the actual commander of our body:

If the tone of our USM is 50% it is called 'I'.

The attitudes are the limits within which we want the tone of our USM to be, positive attitude being the lower limit and negative attitude the upper limit. This is because if the tone is 0% it would lead to flaccid paralysis of the body and if it is 100% it would lead to spastic paralysis of the body.

When the tone of the USM is 50% we can control body temperature, consciousness, emotions, sleep, health, etc. This is how sages control their vital functions without making a move. Thus, normally, it is our 'I' that controls our body.

When the tone becomes 0% or 100% the brain automatically resets it to 50%. In this situation mind becomes virtual. This is the way we use our body and mind when we are modern. This makes us believe that the brain controls our body. Since in science we study the body this way only we come to the same conclusion.

In fact, under normal conditions it is the Isometric component of the skeletal muscular system or Mind that controls our body and not the brain.

Yes. Actions such as your heart beating or inhaling air to breathe are involuntary movements meaning that they're conrolled by your brain without you thinking about it. Other movements are voluntary which means you initiate them. Even movements you initiate are controled by your brain. The brain is part of the nervous system which sends messages to your muscles and bones resulting in the movement you intended.
