Acess can be restricted by the use of PASSWORDS but a committed HACKER might breach access controls
1.Email creates more work
2.People expect immediate replies
3.Most email messages are not secure
though a good secure technology exists for email, the masses seldom bother to use it... or even know about it. Hence transferring sensitive information over email such as credit card numbers or bank details (password?) is not advisable
