Good effects of Martial Law? Yes. The good effects are these:

Rehabilitation of the Environment-Marcos is environmental-friendly. And because he is a pres. and Imelda Marcos act like pres., they encouraged people to plant trees and don't throw garbage.

Housing Projects-In Pasay, there is a condominium that is color pink. Everybody can live there. You can get a 100 sqm room, food, water, electricity and even cleaning! All for just P5.00! Marcos said that the Phils. is poor so he made that condo.

Public Markets-Marcos felt that we can't go to Supermarkets, Hypermarkets and other types. So he conducted the public market for everyone to go.

Hospitals-Marcos made hospitals for lungs, heart and kidneys. The payment is almost free! It already includes the medicine!

Livelihood Programs-The CARP of Marcos means that the land will be given to them and after one year they will pay P 1, 000 monthly.

Irrigation Systems-The most important project of Marcos. Maria Cristina will give water to the whole Mindanao and Angat dam will give water to the whole NCR and Bulacan. There are many other dams in places. And if you used 10 gallons of water, you will only pay P1.00!

Roads and Bridges construction-Since Marcos find it hard to transport goods, he built bridges and highways. He built the Mandaue-Opon bridge which connects Mandaue and Mactan and San Juanico bridge which connects Leyte and Samar. He also constructed the Marcos highway, NLEX and SLEX and he also rehabilitated the Kennon Road.

3r's were given emphasis-Marcos said that poor people don't have enough budget to go to school. He said that even the 3r's (reading,'riting and 'rithmetic) were learned, that is already enough.

Cultural Activities-Marcos want to raise our economy by building Parks, Museums and others near Airports.
