Food chains are the way a organism and it's environment are tied togather by the way the feed. An example may be a spacific Biome like the Troplical Rain forests.

First Plants Like Grass made their own food as producers the a Grasshopper eats the Grass then the Frog eats the Grasshopper then the Snake eat the Frog then a Crocodile or Eagle or Hawk will eat the Snake then if the Crocodile or Eagle or Hawk die a Decomposers like Worm or Fungi or Bacteria will eat the decaying dead body of the animal.
