Morals are lessons learned from a story or personal beliefs that tell an individual what is right and wrong.
An example of a literary moral would be slow and steady wins the race, or that a person that takes their time will find more success than someone that rushes while doing a task.
Personal morals differ person to person, and some examples could be
- honesty
- loyalty
- courage
- selflessness
etc.

True morality is not merely conformance with the laws of the land or of religion, but with principles that contribute to a fair and harmonious society. One example of morality is observing correct sexual conduct. This is difficult to define, because there are so many restrictive definitions of correct sexual conduct, and these may vary from religion to religion and from country to country. Nevertheless, there are minimum standards that almost everyone agrees with. Another example of morality could be a 'needlessly' honest act - for example, correcting a financial error in your favour, when you know that it would never otherwise be discovered.
