Homo erectus was the first to use fire. It took millions of years to discover fire. It was discovered when lightning burnt something. The people from the homo erectus clans then started making it with sticks and stones looking out for little sparks. This technique is still used today by some people and others use our improved technology.Like Handy Man, hominids in the Upright Man group were toolmakers. But with their larger brains, they were able to invent more complex tools, including strong hand-axes made of stone. Upright Man's greatest advantage was the ability to use fire. Anthropologists have found burned animal bones in the same places as Upright Man remains. This clue means that Upright Man probably used fire to cook animal meat.Scientists aren't sure whether these hominids were hunters or wheher they found dead animals to eat.
No, using the empty extinguisher is necessary in order to progress through the game. It is used to obtain the full extinguisher by combining it with the fire hose nozzle.
Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers are not recommended for calcium carbide fires because calcium carbide reacts violently with water, producing acetylene gas. When a carbon dioxide extinguisher is used, it can displace oxygen and potentially build up the concentration of acetylene gas, which can lead to a more hazardous situation. It is safer to use dry powder extinguishers or other specialized extinguishing agents for calcium carbide fires.
The pressure inside a CO2 extinguisher can vary depending on the temperature. Assuming it starts at room temperature, the pressure would increase as the cylinder is exposed to direct sunlight at 50°C. However, without further information, it is difficult to determine the exact pressure increase. It is important to note that CO2 extinguishers have pressure relief valves to prevent over-pressurization.
In MegaMan Battle Network 6, you can find the fire extinguisher in ACDC Town. Go to the SciLab area and enter Dex's house. Inside Dex's house, go up the stairs and you will find the fire extinguisher in the room on the top left.
The exact number of portable hand held fire extinguishers located in the cargo compartment of a USAF C-17 may vary depending on the specific configuration and mission requirements of the aircraft. However, typically there are multiple fire extinguishers strategically placed throughout the cargo compartment to ensure adequate fire suppression capabilities in case of emergency situations.
You should use a fire extinguisher when a fire is small and contained, such as a small grease fire on a stove or a trash bin fire. It is important to remember that you should only attempt to use a fire extinguisher if you have been trained in its proper use and if it is safe to do so. If the fire is large or spreading quickly, evacuate and call emergency services.
The white stuff in fire extinguishers is typically a chemical called dry chemical powder or monoammonium phosphate. This powder is a fire suppression agent that is effective for extinguishing different types of fires, such as those involving flammable liquids, gases, and electrical equipment. When released, the powder smothers the fire and helps to cool the fuel, preventing it from reigniting.
If you remove the siphon tube from a CO2 fire extinguisher, the extinguisher will not work properly. The siphon tube is responsible for drawing and releasing the CO2 gas from the extinguisher. Without it, the CO2 gas will not be able to flow out effectively, rendering the extinguisher ineffective in suppressing fires.
Water is good as it will cut off oxygen and cool the heat source.
Powder and foam will smother to cut off oxygen.
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) will cut off oxygen but blast of gas may spread ther fire by blowing light material such as paper causing it to set fire to other things.
Don't use water on oil, or a chip pan fire.
Base of the flames.
Most extinguishers have a pressure gauge which has a Red Zone marked for full pressure. Just look to see if the needle indicated pressure at near the Full mark. Also, most extinguishers are filled with powder. This powder can pack down and cake when not agitated. It is a good idea to turn the extinguisher over, upside down several times. You will feel the powder move about inside the housing.
In short, No - in the UK "Class 1" is a form of performance that indicates how easily something burns ('Class 4" being the worst).
Fire resistance on the other hand is a term that relates to a construction's ability to resist the passage of fire (e.g. a wall, floor, door etc).
The fact that a material is "Class 1" doesn't necessarily have any bearing on its fire resistance performance. For example, PVC cladding can be obtained to a 'Class 1' rating, but it wouldn't contribute much to the wall's fire resistance performance at all.

Anything that will cool the fire below kindling point, or exclude oxygen from the fire.
Hi,
Offhand, I can think of a couple of possibilities immediately. The first would be a collapsed hydraulic lifter, preventing a valve from opening. Maybe a bent push rod (between the lifter and rocker arm).
If it's a lack of spark, it could be the ignition coil. Chances are that you have one coil for every two cylinders, or the control for the coil not delivering the proper pulse.
The spark plug wires are usually made with a carbon conductor and possibly one or both leads have breaks in them, but that'll usually just cause a weak spark or even the wires could be reversed and firing when they shouldn't.
That's, `off hand`.
Hope it helps,
Cubby
The battle axe was used as a weapon, much like a sword, but requiring somewhat different methods to use and to defend against.
the main precaution is to handle fuel with care,if it is a liquid then keep in close container
The function of a rocket nozzle is to allow the thrust to be focuses and amplified. It also prolongs the burn time and greatly increases performance.
No it did not. the first known tools are 2 million years after Ardipithecus Ramidus lived
