What is the official public worship of the church?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

God sets forth His official design for worship and the church in the Holy Scriptures.

Acts 17:24,25,31 "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him [His Son, Jesus Christ] from the dead."

Acts 18:28 "For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, showing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ."

Colossians 1:18 "And he [Jesus Christ] is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence."

All desiring to turn from darkness to light will find that God is not keeping His design for worship and the church a secret.

Matthew 5:14 "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."

Philippians 2:15,16 "That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain."

Acts 4:20 "For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard."

For a believing believer, home is where the Word lives.

Miracles of divine healing 2.Observance of God's old testament statutes concerning being clean or unclean. these include dietary laws and ways to prevent infectious disease.(If God created us you would think He would know what we need to do to stay healthy) 3. The peace of mind that comes from having a relationship with God. (this has to be healthy)
