Do some girls love crushing snails bugs insects in high heels?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Yes! I dress up to go to my office job and rock my leather pumps or other type of heels. Snails always come out on the drive way all over my walking path to my car. When I see them I deliberately step on them cuz I like to feel and hear the crunch their bodies make under my high heeled feet! It takes my back when I was a kid and me and my friends would see how many snails we crushed. Immature to do as an adult who is a business professional while wearing big girl shoes. I just walk over them. Then wipe Their remains on the drive way before entering my BMW. My boyfriend gets mad when I step on them in front of them. He can take it out on me in bed. Lol!! :)

When did men start wearing high heels?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I never knew they did now!!

Originally men wore high heels rather than women!

The craze for men wearing high heels started in the 17th Cenury in the French Royal Court. It slowly spread to the Royal Courts of Europe & England. Louis xiv of France was famous for his extravagent highly decorated heels, often painted red as a stus of wealth.Eventually women started to wear high heels. The fashion for high heels for both sexes petered out at the beginning of the 19th Century.

The revival in womens high heels began towards the end of the 19th Century.Since then high heels have generally been worn by women, although things like platform boots of the 70s & mens 'cuban' heels have drifted in & out of fashion.

At present, theres been a resurgence in womens ultra high heels & 'Stilletos' popular in the 60's & 80's, are in vogue once more.Christian Leboutin is famous for his high heeled shoe designs.

What do women think of men wearing skirts and high heels?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

A man is not a cross-dresser simply because he wears a skirt. A cross-dresser is someone who is trying to pass as a member of the opposite sex. Many men wear skirts simply because of how comfortable they are. It has nothing to do with fetishes. And if you don't think someone could find a skirt to be more comfortable than pants, I suggest you search the internet and you will find thousands of women who feel they are. I am amazed and bothered at how lacking in empathy some women are for a man wanting to wear a kind of clothing that men were wearing in western countries just a few hundred years ago and which men wear today in countries all over the world. One would think that women would be more understanding given what they went through in order to have the right to wear pants, having to battle against laws that made it a crime, that forced them into psychiatric treatment. In the 60s we fought against a culture that tried hard to regiment people to fit into a narrow definition of how a person should be, that did not allow people to be unique and treasured for their uniqueness. Was it all for nothing? Are women so lacking in empathy (and I say women as clearly some of the answers below that are negative come from women) that they would shame men for simply wanting the same freedom that women have? I suppose such a woman is not worthy of a man who, finding he enjoys wearing skirts, has the guts to wear them despite the social stigma.

While I do think men should be able to wear whatever clothing they want, I will be honest and say I don't find it very desirable or attractive. If a man I was with turned out to be a crossdresser, I'm not sure I could accept this. I would think it is a fetish greater than I am willing to gratify, or in extreme cases, gender confusion. If a stranger on the street was crossdressing, I wouldn't say or do anything. It isn't my business. But I wouldn't think positively about it.

What defines feminine and masculine wardrobe has changed throughout history and it is based on common consensus. There is no clear definition of it, but just because men wore heels in the past does not mean we should make ourselves believe that they are "masculine." If you're trying to live among a modern society, wearing high heels (or a skirt) is going to have a variety of reactions, much of which will be negative, because it is widely regarded as feminine wardrobe in today's etiquette. Obviously, you can go against etiquette and wear what you please, but be advised that not everyone will be the nicest about it.

I think that all men should be truthful enough as to wear whatever they want to wear. because of official stereotype, associational, perceived dress codes are that men need to wear skirts more often to get rid of the ideas from the Normality perceived ideas. because men also want to look beautiful and that bearing in mind men do have external genitalia because of this the thickest part of men's clothing is surrounding the genitalia thus sometimes making men feel injured and angry because of overheating and killing valuable sperm cell. That is why men need to wear skirts to allow for natural ventilation to the gonads.

Basically, I find it quite refreshing thinking that other men and their partners do love each other no matter what and help each other in any way, weather shopping and listening to each other - also quite sexy!

A very good book to read on this subject would be "The Sex Life of the Foot and Shoe" by William A. Rossi!

The short answer for most people is that it is a fetish. Most people have some type of fetish, known or unknown. Just go to any truck stop and see how many men wear high heels (AKA Cowboy boots). You may be surprised.

Consider this:

If a man likes Women, that makes him Heterosexual (straight). If a man likes men, that makes him Homosexual (gay).

If a man likes Women's shoe styles or other feminine things, it could be said that he has a heterosexual fetish. If a man likes men's shoe styles or other masculine things, it could be said that he has a Homosexual fetish!

Please note!

It is possible for Heterosexual men to have a Homosexual fetish and visa versa.

If you think this may be a little deep and confusing, start doing some research on XX and XY Chromosomes.

I think men should be able to wear skirts as they used to wear them not so long ago. I am not sure about high heels. I have never been a fan of high heels even for women. Plus there are not good for your feet and very uncomfortable. Skirts on the other end are very comfortable especially for men, since they keep the man cool between the legs and this is a good thing.

I think that men should be able to wear what they want. I have worn skirts, high heels, nylon stockings (thigh highs), panties, bras, full length slips, and garter belts. These items feel good to me. I normally wear these items in the privacy of my own home, but I have worn them as I have travelled in various parts of the country.

I agree that men should be able to wear what they want without any stigmas.

It is a double standard that only women can wear what they want including men's clothes.

The choice in clothes does not define who you are. Men wearing feminine attire does not make them gay or any less of a man. Perhaps they are 'metrosexual' or desiring to get in touch with their feminine side or perhaps just like the look and feel of the clothes.

Not long ago, and in some places today like Scotland and the Arabic areas, men wear skirts (kilts) and dresses. Centuries ago, men use to wear the same togas and tunics that women did (AKA another name for a dress). In Ancient China and other oriental places as well as middle eastern places, men wore makeup and earrings. Just like women did.

That did not define their sexuality nor made them any less of a man.

In fact, keeping the testes cool by wearing skirts/dresses increases male fertility. It is a well known fact that tight fitting clothing or clothing that doesn't breathe well reduces male fertility.

It's only in the Christian world and in places that are 'Americanized' that men no longer wear female attire.

The stigma of a man 'looking like' a man (eg., macho, anti-feminine, etc) is a Christian concept more than any other idealism.

Did you know that before the advent of modern thermal underwear, professional American football players used to wear pantyhose to help keep them warm? And it gave whomever wore that the advantage of both keeping warm and the ability to perform with less hindrance than the old thermal underwear used to give? Did that make them any less attractive or not masculine? Women STILL clamored after them.

Just because a man wants to wear feminine attire in any form does not make him mentally ill. J. Edgar Hoover allegedly wore female attire.

How high are the highest wearable high heels?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

For experienced high heel wearers it is generally agreed that the highest heel that can be worn comfortably is between 5 and 5 ½ inches. This is assuming there is no platform sole and the heel is a stiletto, a high heel shoe with no platform sole is often referred to as "single sole". It should also be remembered that heel height for a particular shoe is approximate and is dependent on shoe size, for example a 5 inch heel will increase in height to 5 ½ usually if the shoe size is greater than E.U. size 41. This is to maintain proportion between length of the shoe and height of the heel.

Is it appropriate to let a nine year old wear high heels to school?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

  • Having raised two daughters, both of whom tended to be tom-boyish, we never had this issue come up; however, we did make the distinction between school attire and "dress" clothing. I don't thinks it's appropriate for a young woman, or even an pre-teen to wear 4" heels to school (I assume, your daughter doesn't walk to school). Nice dresses, skirts, high heels were clothing items for going out socially (parties, family socials, dinner out, etc.). Does your daughter already wear heels comfortably? Can she run in them (in case of potentially dangerous situations? Perhaps 15 or 16 is a good age for heels.
  • Do you really believe 4-inch heels are in any way appropriate attire for ''school''? Or for teenagers at any time other than maybe Homecoming or Prom? When was the last time you took out a ruler or measuring tape and really looked at how high 4-inches really is? As the mother of two young daughters (8 and 9) who already try to act far older than they are, I allow lip gloss and very light blush, but when the time comes, I will draw the line at high heels at school. It's a matter of choosing you fights wisely - you can overlook little things but as a responsible parent you need to draw the line somewhere.
  • School is a place for learning not for fashion shows and 4-inch heels tend to distract young men. I know, I used to wear 4-inch heels to school myself. Sure they looked sexy (is that how you want people to think of your daughter?), and they attracted a lot of attention especially with a short skirt but by the end of the day my feet would be killing me and no, my mom didn't ''let'' me wear them, she just never paid attention to anything I did. I learned a lot from her ... about how a parent should not act or treat his or her children. ''Parents'' should NOT encourage their daughters to try to be sexy. Celebrities, television, movies and magazines seem to be objectifying girls and making girls feel insecure quite well on their own. I have a son in high school and I know what he and his friends think about girls who dress too provocatively. I've heard the things they say and it basically amounts to how hot and/or easy certain girls are. They don't respect those girls at all. And almost all of them have cute, sweet, ''smart'' girlfriends they aren't embarrassed to introduce to their mom's...and it makes me very proud of the them. And before anyone reading this even starts to think it...I am not some radical feminist nor am I even particularly religious. I enjoy dressing sexy and making myself attractive, I also have a couple of tattoos and a discrete piercing but ''I'' am an adult, not some little preteen Paris Hilton 'wannabe.' I am also intelligent and resent people assuming I'm empty headed because I'm attractive and blond - with or without stiletto heels.
  • Encourage your daughter to respect herself and not be ashamed to be smart or athletic. The testosterone is at high speed with teenage boys who eventually grow up too, and the ones worth having will be the ones who have learned to admire and respect a self-confident, intelligent woman while still being able to appreciate the female form without feeling the need to treat her badly. Do your daughter a favor and stick to lower heeled shoes - two inch heels are still high enough to show off ones legs without being slutty and flats and sneakers can be very cute with the right outfits. And lets not forget the aches and pains that high heels can cause - like bunions, corns, blisters and twisted ankles. Eighteen is soon enough for dressing and acting sexy. Please, let your kids be kids while they can. Don't they grow up fast enough as it is?
  • Two inches is still awfully high. I would say 1.5 max. They will be in them all day and their feet are still growing a little. School is no place for that sort of thing.
  • I am a 14 year old girl and from my perspective, high heels are just fine for younger girls to wear as long as they aren't too high. I would say minimum age to wear heels is 12. The older the girl, the higher the shoe may be. I personally have a pair of 4-inch heels, but only because my mom is kind of loose on shoe rules. Here are my ages and heights: Age Height of High Heel 12 1-2inches 13 2-3inches 14 3 inches 15 3 inches 16 4 inches 17+ 4+ inches
  • I started to wear 4 inch heels in grade 9 so early teens and I saw nothing wrong with it. School is a place of learning but it can become an event like going out because it is probably the most social thing she will do all day even if she goes out with her friends or family later. Heels are not distracting to men. Most really don't care what is on your feet but if you are wearing a short skirt it wont matter if you are wearing tennis shoes they will be distracted and who cares! I hate those rules that it is too distracting to the male students seriously they need to teach boys some self control then if shoes and spaghetti straps are to distracting.
  • School is no place for 4 inch high heels. This height of heel is usually worn when out on a date for the evening. 4 inch heels are also bad for posture and the back, but then again, young girls aren't thinking about that. I would refuse to let my daughter go to school in 4 inch heels! When they are out on their own and can afford to pay for their own stilettos then they can wear stilts if they want. You're the parent and the law in your household and she's the minor. Go halfway with her and let her wear some type of a high heel, but not that high.
  • In the late 70's and early 80's, girls 13 through 18 wore very high heels 3 to 4 inches, either a platform or a stilletto type. The difference was that the skirts were knee length so the heels were classy looking. Today, you see micro mini's and shorts with these heels and its a whole new impression. That was what hookers wore in the old days. So it's not the shoe, it's what's worn with it.

Does a woman exert higher pressure on the ground when she is wearing high heels or flat sole shoes?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

They both exert the same amount of force theoretically, it's just that the force exerted on the floor by the high-heel spike is more concentrated.

High heel - less surface area, more concentrated force.

Work boot - more surface area, less concentrated force.

Can high heels be shortened by one inch?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

You can, but you have to go to a very special tailorThe actual height of the heel can be increased, but that would change the angle where the arch section meets the sole. Added heel height would increase that angle and excess material will extend to the sides. Also, the heel itself will not stand perpendicular to the floor, but at an angle with the top of the heel more toward the toe of the shoe.

How upset should you be if you caught your 13 year old son completely dressed in his mother's clothes including makeup underwear high heels dress and a purse?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

At 13 he is completely aware of what he is doing and why. You have two choices; one forbid him from doing it (which will not work anyway) or two help him. I agree with the other writer but would take it a bit further. First of all at 13 girls are getting into women things in a big way and so will he want to as well. So instead of taking him to a thrift store treat him/her like a daughter he/she wants to be and allow him/her to get a wardrobe. Here is what I did not my 14 year old when he/she was doing the same things. First of all he/she was much better as a girl than as a boy. What I mean is that he/she was more cooperative when being the "girl"; helped around the house more; did "her" homework and generally behaved. I completely accepted what was happening and what was going to happen. I waited for a three day weekend and we took a complete daughter/mommy day for "her" transformation.

I took "her" to a teen clothing store and let "her" pick out some outfits knowing that they wold most likely be more feminine than the usual girl "her" age might pick out. And of course "she" picked out two dresses, three blouses, two skirts, and two pants to start off with. Next to Victoria Secret, yup 13 year old girls shop there these days. We got "her" 3 bras that would be cup size appropriate for her age and build, one black, one white and one beige; 3 pairs of matching panties for each bra and "she" did want nice silky nylon panties, which you should expect, then 2 camisoles and 2 half slips. One half slip was a really pretty white satin to go with the white satin cami we got, the other was a beige nylon with lace around the top, both very pretty. Then some socks and shoes and one pair of 2 inch pumps for a more dresses occasion. Then to the makeup counter at Penny's for "her" own makeup and I was showing "her" how to use the correct colors and just bright red like many young girls want to wear to start off with. Then to the lingerie section of Penny's for a couple night gowns, one long and one short with matching robes-very nice and petty nylon gowns.

We got home and I told "her" about shaving her legs and under arms and into the shower "she" went. "She" got out and I gave "her" a the short robe to put on and to the makeup section of my bedroom. "She" at down and I did her makeup and fixed "her" hair the best I could for now. It will grow out loger and then we can do more female hair styles but it looked cute. During all this I treated "her" like a girl and not a boy, which is important. "She" got dressed in her new white bra (with some old foam inserts I had-I have since got her nice silicone breast inserts) and panties and slip with one of her new dresses and the pumps at my request. I told her I had a surprise and we went to get her nails done and she was really doing well. We had the most productive weekend that we ever had together and since then have gotten really close. Now at 16 he goes to school in "boy" mode as he calls it but spends every night and weekend and everyday and night during breaks and summer vacation in "girl" mode. I began giving him/her my estrogen birth control pills to lessen male characteristics kicking in and I think it has worked. She has stayed a 5'5" and her voice never broke and she has no facial hair. His/her grades have gone up and the attitude is fantastic. I do see her wanting to spend more and more time in girl mode and believe that it will eventually take over completely-I think after this summer we will pursue living fulltime as a girl. She now has few boys clothes. We had an opportuity over Christmas to go to a fancy Christmas party and I bought her a beautiful satin red and gren short taffeta gown with red stockings and 3 inch heels and she was in heaven and looked so pretty. I talked with a doctor abvout this and she said that is not always the case but that I did the correct thing.

Answer

Love him enough to allow him to be who he is. Love is unconditional.

Answer

Don't be upset. If you misbehave at this time, you could be telling your son to hide his feelings, be secretive, induce shame and lower his self esteem. How you feel in less important than how he feels at this tough age. TALK. Talk about dressing up. Find out his desires. If he likes dressing up, create some rules...like when and where. Stop the sneaking, secrets and fear...these are far more harmful than dressing up. If he wants to dress, as you suggest, be supportive. Take hime to a thrift shop and help hime choose an outfit. Have him try it on in the store. Tell hime when and where he can dress, where to keep his stuff, and do your best to help him look good. If he wants to go out dressed, you take him out in daylight (shopping). Would you rather have him dressed like a teenage girl lurking around alone at night without you knowing? Get a full length mirror. This is your chance to be a great parent.

Do men wear high heels?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Uhmmm not if they're older than like 3, cause after that wearing them is just creepy.

Answer 2

Well they can and I'm not talking about gay boys, most crossdressers are indeed straight men. Outside utter crossdressing well stilettos may look a bit too much but some boys can definitely pull off some kinds of high wedge sandals, it may look cool in an unconventional way but you must be careful, you may not want to wear shorts in this case or you'd have to shave, but this isn't also strict rule.

As for other usual female shoes, well some boys especially in the emo style wear flats, sometimes even leggings, but they like to highlight their androginous side, not that they can't be "badass" or otherwise masculine, but you may want to avoid flats if you don't want to look the least androginous.

But as female can look ironically feminine with a tie so can us, today we have much more leeway. And take loafers for example, they are the unisex shoe by excellence, now even medium to low vamp loafers fall into women shoes, so I wouldn't even call crossdressing if a boy wears one.

Should a 12 year old girl wear high heels?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Up to the parent to decide. It shouldn't be a problem

Six year old girls love to wear high heels as part of playing dress up. Sometimes boys too. They love to borrow Mom's high heels and wear scarves and fancy blouses as dresses and things like that. for dressing up is fine not as everyday shoes though heels can damage your feet if u wear them on a everyday basis.

-------

Are you crazy, I'm no moralist at all but at 6?? Should??

I'd say no heels before her first period, as they symbolize the adult woman, just like nail polish, shaving, make up, bras, pantyhose and too short skirts or even dying your hair and shaping your eyebrows. Ok we can be a little more flexible about pantyhose. I suggest just playing about it or at most a kitten heel for everyday wear, respect you children's age and don't rush them, and even beautysocial norms for adult women has to be discussed, what I say is that schoo children and schoolboys and girls have to protected and have the right to choose whether to conform or refuse a social norm without being harassed and to have their personal style, children have to be used to see something different or they will retain the same tribal fearful aggressive behaviour outcasting everyone who begs to differ. To me high heel especialy stilettos are vere dangerous to a girl, so teach them about the wedge alternatives but only when she becomes a girl.

High heels ruin a grown woman's feet so imagine what it would do to a small growing child's feet! So no! Small children should not wear them unless we talk about dressing up at home once in awhile. I think it's very ignorant that Tom Cruise for instance is letting Suri walk around in shoes that can hurt her. Very irresponsible. Many doctors have already spoken up against it.

How are high heels so kinky?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I never got it, i bet they make you look taller, but it's not that important to me. If you really want so bad to feel taller just wear wedges they significantly reduces the discomfort and pain that thin high heels give, making you walk with more ease for much longer, but don't overdo, try to like yourself your height, I'm also not too tall as a boy.

Not all wedges are chunky and sturdy there are many classy wedges around, don't worry.

How high can high heels be for a 12 year old girl?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

You should wear high heels whenever you feel like you are ready. Just make sure that the heels are easy to walk on and stable because you do not want to twist your ankle. I got my first high heels at age ten. They had a two inch chunck heels that spread across the shoe because I felt more comfortable wearing these. Just do not wear them to school because you could hurt yourself on the stairs and in some places wearing high heels at school is against the dress code. Practice wearing your heels around your house before you go out in public because you are not always comfortable on a new pair of heels and they should be broken in. Make sure you like the shoes so that you will wear them. If you live upstairs on an apartment, put on the shoes after you go down stairs. If you are in a hotel, take the elevator. Be sure your heels are not slippery because this will make them unstable. You can wear high heels whenever you feel ready.

What impact did high heels do?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The impact of high heels is that they make the one wearing them taller. They somehow make them stand out a little bit. The reason is that when they get used to wearing it, the way they walk differs from other people that the coordination of their hips, waist, legs, and other parts of the body is good. This makes their walk beautiful and make (mostly for female) their assets stand out better.
