What will happens if you mix yeast sand apple juice and water?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The sugar in the juice feeds the yeast and it will proof or bloom.

+++ It will do more than that. It will turn the juice into a very rough and probably unpalatable "wine", because the yeast would feed on the fruit sugar and produce carbon-dioxide and alcohol.

Does apple cider cure molluscum contagiosum?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It is never that simple. That said I applied it directly just to the spots and it killed them quickly. First, the mature molluscum contagious spots might swell slightly, but they will then get a small scab in the center and fade away. I tried the apple cider vinegar first. It would not get all the spots and it seemed to allow it to spread. The one spot I tried would be gone, but 4 more would show up where to cotton swab had touched. Also, it hurt and left but scabs that might scar.

The most common treatments for molluscum contagiosum are astringent chemicals, surgery, and dye lasers.

What cleans penny better apple juice or vinegar?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

vinegar. a reaction occurs between the two cleaning a good deal of all the dirt of the penny. You should never try to clean anything except ordinary circulation coins. Any coin that's worth a premium as a collectible will have its value reduced by home cleaning. The chemicals (e.g. vinegar is an acid) will affect the coin's metal and make it less attractive to a collector. That's just the way things work with collectibles. Remember those Antiques Roadshow episodes where someone proudly shows off the 19th century table that they stripped and refinished? It looks really nice, but then the appraiser tells them that before cleaning it was worth, oh, $25,000 or some similar amount, but now it might sell for $4,000....

Why does apple juice kill plants?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Answer:

There are many folk-cures and hear-say remedies for growing plants, many if not most will end in weakening if not killing the plant, the best recourse is to know the plant, know what type of soil it likes, and what kind of nutrients it requires, (well balanced nutrient filled diet) the simple course of action would be: Plain water, Air, Sunlight [full/partial/defused] and a mild form of fertilizer, keeping in mind not to over water or under water.

apple juice wont help a plant grow because in photosynthesis, both sunlight (CO2) and water (H2O) are main components in the plant growing proccess, apple juice just aids in the fungi process, i have tried it, it just got fuzzy at the top...fungi.

Is it safe to drink unpasturized apple juice that is unopened and the electricity went out?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

If the cranberry juice was purchased from the non-refrigerated aisle, yes it should be safe to drink. However, if the electricity remains out for several days, the cranberry juice should be discarded a couple days after opening because bacteria may start to multiply in it.

If the cranberry juice was purchased from the refrigerated aisle, if it is still feels like it is at refrigerator temperatures it should be safe to drink. However, this product should be consumed within 12 hours of opening.

If the cranberry juice was purchased from the refrigerated aisle and feels warm to the touch, it may not be safe to drink.

Is cider gluten free?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

According to all of my research, Woodpecker cider is gluten-free. Along with Magners, Woodchuck, Bulmers (UK brand of Magners), Strongbow and Cider Jack. The only unfriendly cider I have found to date is Hornsby....which does have wheat. I have been a celiac for six years and was a huge fan of beer before my diagnosis. I like some of the gluten-free beers out there (Ramapo Valley, New Grist), however they are extremely hard to find in bars/pubs - not to mention stores! Cider is a nice alternative and since it is available in a ton of bars/pubs/restaurants/stores, you do not have to feel ostracized when you are out and want to have a beer-like drink, especially when you can get it on tap!
