What is the feminin of serviteur french?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

the name serviteur has no feminine. It is nowadays grammatically acceptable to 'feminise' these nouns, for instance by putting a feminine article before them.

'un serviteur' could then become 'une serviteur' (but most French would balk when hearing that)

With slightly different meanings, 'domestique' is either feminine or masculine, the noun 'servant' has a feminine variation ('servante').
