The thermostat is located on the front of the engine. Drain the water from the radiator. Remove the water hose. Remove the thermostat housing bolts. Reverse the process to install the new thermostat.
The Hydraulic clutch fitted to the rover 400 is a sealed unit and the only thing that you can do is to replace the complete unit

4 place remote close to door lock pin and press lock button 3 times quickly this should lock the door then your done
If your battery has been disconnected and your key fob will now not work to cancel the imobiliser try this, Open the key fob cover and carefully remove the larger of the two battries give it a wipe for good measure and then replace into its slot, go and sit in your car with doors closed and then press the open and close buttons alternately about four times, the doors will lock just press the open button and your imobiliser is imobilized and you can now start your car. It works for me every time.

If you car is a 1990 - 1996 (3 box saloon) you prise the wood trim from the facia with a wide blunt screwdriver and replace the bulb by turning it a quarter turn.
For later cars that look like a Honda Civic, chances are it may be a bulb or more likely the clock itself has failed (common fault)
To gain access to the clock on post 1996 models....
Remove the rear console - posi screws on the sides at the rear (slide seats forward to gain access)
Prise the cap under the handbrake to reveal 2 10mm bolts - remove
Lift the console and detatch the e/window wiring plugs
Remove console
Prise out the HRW & hazard switches and unplug
In the holes remove the screws with a magnetic screwdriver
Remove the radio
Remove the single screw in the radio aperture
Remove the 2 screws either side of the centre console
Remove the gear knob
Gently remove the centre console to gain access to the clock & wiring
Best of luck - its fiddly!
i belive its i a pannel as u open the drivers door on the side of the seat
