4-H Horse shows are schooling shows for younger or un expirienced riders getting ready for larger more competitive shows. 4-H shows are shows put on by 4-H groups. The majority of the riders that show up for the show are riders in 4-H groups.

Depending on manufacturer this club could have the loft of a 4 iron or a 3 iron. It is a club which has the loft of an iron but the design of a wood, it helps get the ball in the air easier. You can use it for tee shots on par 3s or to get into position on a par 4. You can also use it for approach shots on par 4s and par 5. Some people even use it for bump and run shots.

Usually, different Airlines have different rules. Also, different flights like First Class, Business or Economy class also have different rules. Usually there are increments of 30 Kls., 40 Kls., or 60 Kls. Depending on the type of flight too.

Joining a 4-H club is free, but there are expenses. You have to pay for the things you need to complete 4-H projects. For example, if you do the "Clothing" project, you have to buy your own material and supplies to complete the project. Some of the projects can be costly, but all of them aren't. That is something you might want to consider when you select projects to do.

Also, your local club may have "dues" that you pay, either per meeting or per year. Those are set by each club and usually aren't that much. Money is used for activities for the club or whatever the club decides to do with it.

To join 4-H, you have to be 9-years-old. Children ages 5 to 8 can join the Cloverbuds. Members can stay in 4-H through age 19. Youths in their college years can join the Collegiate program.

4-h is important for children because it gives the right to learn leadership , investment , responsibility , and feel more capable

The 4-H Pledge is: I pledge My head to clearer thinking (place hand on head), My heart to greater loyalty (hand on heart), My hands to larger service (hands out in front of body), And my health to better living (hands clasped in front of or behind body or at sides), For my club, my community, my country, and my world.

4-H was created to teach young people about leadership, citizenship and community service. It was meant to make today's youth better citizens.

The first agricultural after-school clubs were formed in 1902, and by 1914 the organizations were using the familiar four-leaf clover emblem with four H's as their logo. The national organization was formed in 1914, and the US Congress mandated its operation by the Cooperative Extension Service of the USDA later that year with the passage of the Smith-Lever Act of 1914.

A. B. Graham started one of the youth programs in Mississippi in 1902, which is considered the birth of the 4-H program in the United States. The first club was called "The Tomato Club" or the "Corn Growing Club".

4-H is an organization that teaches resposibility through its programs. This is generaated even more through its clubs. A 4-H club has meetings anywhere from once a week/every other week or month to discuss new 4-H news, information, and resources. Meetings start with pledges then usually lead into a short meeting which is followed by either a guest speaker, working on a community project, completion of 4-H projects, or just chatting in general. This is also where you would receive your green record books/manuals and project information.

If you don't have time to attend meetings you can sign up under "independent study" (depending upon what state you're in). Indepent Study makes you (the parent) the leader which means you would sign all the records sheets as the "leader of your club"

Being in a 4-H Club is not required when joining 4-H. Or, if you get tired of the club you are in, you can switch and join another club.
