Could be that the bearing is going out. I'd take it out and run it out of the car to see as maybe something got in there and you may not havr to replace it
I think it depends on which version you have. I can tell you what it is on v4.
Egg to Baby: about one minute
Baby to Toddler: about one hour
Child to Teenager: about one day
Teenager to Adult: about two days
Hope this helps.
if you remove the coil cover on top of the distrubutor, there will be a red wire, a white/ or yellow wire, and a black wire which will be the ground. The Coil is not mounted on distributor in 93. It has a remote coil
this is my question and I was wondering because the day lights and high beams work but as soon as the low beams are switched on the daylights shut off. this is my dad's van, trying to help him fix the problem.
10w-40 is an all-purpose oil that can be used in most motor vehicles, however it is best to use whatever oil is recommended by the manufacturer, especially if you are pulling a trailer or other severe service.
GOT IT FIXED TODAY. WOUND UP THE IGNITION SWITCH WAS BAD. NOT THE KEY AND CYLINDER COMMONLY REFERED TO AS THE IGNITION SWITCH BUT THE SWITCH DOWN ON THE COLUMN UNDER THE DASH THAT THE TURNING OF THE KEY PUSHES WITH A ROD. I ASKED 2 MECHANICS, 4 PARTS STORES AND THE SERVICE DEPT AT THE LOCAL CHEVY DEALER AND THE ALL TOLD ME THE KEY AND CYLINDER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. $179.00 LATER MY CAR STILL DID EXACTLY WHAT IT DID TO BEGIN WITH. SO I PUT ON A $21.39 SWITCH THAT WAS MOUNTED ON TOP OF THE STEERING COLUMN UNDER THE DASH AND WAS SO HARD TO GET TO THE THE WHOLE COLUMN HAD TO COME OUT TO REPLACE IT. HOPE THIS MAY HELP SOMEONE IN THE FUTURE BUT I HOPE YOU NEVER HAVE TO DO IT. IT IS A PAIN.
The flasher relay is located under the dash on the driver's side. It is up in the dash above the regular small fuses. You have to take the lower dash panel out to get to the relay. It is also a OEM part. Mine cost $60.00. The generic brand flasher from Auto Zone did not work.
Take out the bolts and replace it. You may need to raise the motor to get enough clearence, may have to drop it down a bit and remove the pickup tube to get it out.
Bumblbee was not a Camaro. GM gave two 5.7l V8 2004 GTOs to SALEEN and they modified the GTO's bodies to look like the concept Camaros.
Std. transmission? Bad clutch? Auto transmission? Check transmission fluid level
Under the dash to the left of the steering column.
on the brake pedal braket, lay on your seat upside down. feet on head rest. head on brake pedal. there is a small plastic cover about 6 inches from your face, remove it. look up about a foot. you'll see a small green box. that is your turn flasher relay. hope you are very flexable.
Clogged interior or exterior of the radiator, defective fan or fan relay, bad fan clutch if so equipped, thermostat stuck closed, low coolant level, defective or incorrect size radiator cap, or a bad water pump.
This problem is caused by the GM Theftlock system which is a security system that whenever the ignition is tampered with the vehicle cuts off fuel and refuses to start. The problem with this system is that there seems to be an issue in many GM vehicles where the system is faulty and constantly is tripping the system at random leaving owners stranded. The quick solution that is located in your owners manual is to leave your key in the "ON" position for appx 10 minutes until the "Security" or "Theft System" light stop blinking and become solid... then turn the key to "OFF" and attempt to restart the vehicle. This has never failed for me.. but is becoming annoying. My mother drives a 2004 Grand Am SE1 V6 and it has just started this problem... also I own a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu which started with this problem a few years ago which finally got fixed when I had my mechanic completely replace and re-key my ignition.. which may not be a solution for everyone.. but I am glad it worked for me.
What light? Headlights / Parking lights can only be turned off while in park. turn the engine off, set the parking brake. Start the engine..... as soon as you remove the parking brake the lights will come back on
Call several places. $150 to as much as $300. Just had one in an 02 Camry and it was $185 but had bids up to $260. They all use the same windshield, it is just a matter of greed on who's the cheapest. Also depends on where you are at.
the How_fast_is_the_world_population_growinggrows about 3 people every second. And there has been an increase of 1.3%. By 2054 there will be 12 billion people in the world.
if the aircraft is the standard aluminum airframe. any power ground should be less than 1 Ohm. A digital multimeter is best for the novice. for more serious applications a mega-ohm meter should be used. but be careful, most of this meters output more that 600 Volts.
I have one and most of the folks on the Impala SS forum believe the speed to be 145. I've personally had mine to 144 and that was all of it. I have a few mods on mine as well. I hope this helps I had an 94' caprice LT-1 w/tow pack , Took off the top speed limiter in the pcm''STOCK'' w/catback exhaust .Went 145mph and was still going! Don't think it would do 150mph. But could hit 147-148mph if I stayed on it . I think any good running94-96 SS can run over 140+mph
On my 99 Montana it turned out to be an exhaust leak in the catalytic converter. This is additional comment to above question about a whine noise from another person.
I have no solution yet, but overdrive lock up stopped functioning in "D" and it now "whines" with change to engine speed, especially noticable going up and down hills as load changes. This noise starts after about 20 minutes of driving when everything gets up to temperature. Putting the transmission into "3" out of "D" and it will quieten down a lot, which takes the lock up overdrive out of action. Yes, transmission still runs ok and has for 8,000 plus miles. Seems ok but I suspect it may cause problems or transmission failure eventually.
PS: Transmission has 177,000 miles at this time.
REMOVE the pin from the actuator rod to the wastegate
turn the rod adjusment nut little by little.... this WILL raise boost if you make it shorter AND WILL lower boost if you make it longer
Unplug positive battery post after locking both doors. wait a minute and the unlock the passenger and then start the car within 10 seconds of unlocking it. thats what i did, and it worked
low line pressure. take it to a transmission shop have the system flushed.(cooler, lines, transmission) new filter and fluid. tranny shop may also recommend a rebuild/replacement.
