Shannon Miller was born on March 10, 1977 in Rolla, Missouri and grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma.
I can't say exactly how many because there are no real statistics for this question. But there have been many who have broken/fractured their necks doing gymnastics at a more extreme level (never really happens entry or intermediate level) and you will find a lot of stories online. I am one of those people but 4 months post op and I am back into training!
Yes. Her first child was born two days ago (October 28, 2009) and the father of the baby is John Falconetti, Miller's second husband. The couple was expecting the child's birth on November 5, 2009. By the way, it's a boy!!!!
One of the most commonly known and successful gymnast representing Great Britain at the 2012 Olympic Games is Beth Tweddle.
the dictionary definition for these words are: stunts-- a performance displaying a person's skill or dexterity, as in athletics; feat: an acrobatic stunt.tumbling-- the act, practice, or art of performing acrobatic tumbles, usually on a mat or the ground. stunts are like in cheerleading when you see a girl getting thrown up in the air or people holding a girl in the air, that's a stunt. tumbling is considered things like cartwheel, front roll, round-off, back-handspring, back tuck, full, x-out, front tuck, front-handspring, etc.

There is really no way to tell. Because all over the world people do gymnastics. Also some people only do it for a little while (like a month) and that still counts as having done gymnastics. Sorry I don't have a better answer!

Gymnastics is a sport that is celebrated around the world. Gymnasts in New Zealand who need a bit of inspiration can look to Tanya Moss and David Phillips.
I've seen a five foot trampoline before. If you mean those tiny round ones, then there are extremely few moves: just straight jumps or maybe tuck jumps. Anything else is too difficult and/or dangerous. You'll be a lot happier with a 15 ft trampoline.
The thickness of a balance beam is 4 inches wide 6 inches tall and 14 and a half feet long.
As Nadia Comaneci was born in 1961 (age 49 in 2011, 50 this November) and only married Bart Connor in the 1990's, she does not have a granddaughter who does gymnastics. They do however have a son named Dylan Paul Conner, born on June 3, 2006 in Oklahoma City.
The question may have arisen because of a video on Youtube which falsely identifies the Bulgarian gymnast Boyanka Angelova (born 1994) as Comaneci's granddaughter.
Nadia Comaneci hasn't died. She was born in 1961 and is currently 48. She and her husband Bart Conner, another champion gymnast, run the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy in Oklahoma.
