What Publix is hiring?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It is fairly easy to get a job at Publix. They sometimes (not always) hire people starting at age 14. I started working at the Destin Publix when I was 15. The application process is automated, and must be done at an in store kiosk. The interview was not too hard either. I didn't even have to rehearse or prepare for it, and I was still hired on the spot (this may be partly because I applied right before the summer season, and it gets BUSY during that time).

Most of the interview questions were pretty basic, like "Tell me about yourself", "what do you think makes a good employee", "what was the hardest decision you made this year and why", "are you a leader or a follower", "how can you contribute to this store", etc.

According to their website they accept applications from people who are at least 14 years old. However they state not all of their stores hire minors so you have to go to your local store to ask. As far as pay goes you would make minimum wage and they also have set hours for when you are in school and your work hours would be probably about 20 hours a week.

Your starting pay as a bagger would be $7.00/hr. As a cashier, I believe it's $9.00-$9.25/hr. And it also depends on location, where you live. Perfect attendance and punctuation will get you a raise too, which will be every 3 months the first couple of times. But remember it also depends on your performance and experience.

When is Publix moving to nc?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

We are definitely a presence in North Carolina these days! However, it is bad business practice to announce where we might go until we are ready to break ground. After all, why have real estate prices jacked up on a piece of ground before you invest in it based on rumors? Publix believes in sound conservative business practices, knowing that an investment in people, land, and business should result in stable stores, happy employees, and long term involvement in the community.

How much do condoms cost at Publix?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The condoms at Publix were among the cheapest, I only recommend Trojan's, fire and ice smell like burnt hair and rubber, (we were both shaved too) for a pack of 15 regular Trojans costs as of 12-12-13 6.99$ (and for you over compensating boys out there, magnums are .32 inches longer and .5 inches at the base/head. which i tend to find useful that's at the part where they break so if you wish to buy them they are usually 1$ more of so. but don't buy them expecting them to be much larger it's a matter of media and marketing hype. I prefer them because they don't break as easily and I feel more secure about using them.
