Fur and hair are two totally different things. They differ in growth pattern, composition, look, etc. There are some species of animals that have hair, rather than fur. A detailed description of the two can be found at the website listed below in Related Links.
According to Guinness World Records the Sea Otter has the densest fur with 100,000 hairs per cm2
It varies with ethnicity.
People of African decent tend to take longer to grow hair, whereas those of European decent grow much faster.
Dreadlocks for African-decent people grow faster than their natural, unlocked hair.
For those not of African decent, a little more than your average growth.
Black people can have red hair, it is just an extremely rare thing. Also, if the mother and father both have a recessive trait for red hair then there is a 1/4 chance that the baby will have natural red hair. It is all in the genes and where you pull from down the line.
both members of ICP did have dreadlocks but violent j had a melt down and chopped his off and shaggy 2 dope was tiredpeople ripping his out and selling them so she shaves his head completely bald.
There was not someone who created, invented, or discovered dreadlocks. Dreading is a natural process of matted, knotted hair that can occur in any hair type.
they are as old as man
you could say mother nature creatted dreadlocks since dreads form naturaly.
it wasn't until the comb was invented in ancient Egypt that other non dreadlock hairstyles became popular
no you can only make a mess
dreads need to be clean hair only
Yes, Dreadlocks cannot prevent your skills or abilitys to work.
However, depending on where you live, employers may not consider dreadlocks a very professional hairstyle. Because so many myths and rumors exist about locks, many ignorant people will be judgmental of people with dreadlocks.
but discrimination is illegal
Yes they can depending on how you take care of them.
basically its easier to do it when your hair is thick and frissy but basically what u do is you don't comb it you basically keep twisting it and soaking it in water basically all a dread is is matted molded hair that sticks together hope that answers your question
yes. it's very unhealthy. if u never wash your hair or wash it once in 2 weeks or more you will have germs crawling up your hair. and if u wash it everyday you'll loose all natural minerals. if u need any advise on hair or beauty, just mail me at veewiz@gmail.com.
HOPE I HELPED. ;)
You can have it done in Harlem USA for about $80 - $150 depending on the size and your negotiating skills
There doesn't have to be nor is there symbolism for everything, though some hairstyles do send messages, but they are more obvious than symbolism.
"Dread"locks can symbolize many things. Dreadlocks' origin lies with Rastafarians. THey often just allowed their hair to grow without combing or brushing over a long period of time, and the hair "locked" upon itself and remained in whatever shape it grows from the scalp in. Many people have looked at them and called them dreadful because they were not uniformed like loose braids, and looked dirty. But there are many ways to lock hair that are much more hygenically pleasing and easier to care for than that.
For some, locking hair may be a symbol of strength or identifying with culture. It may be a statement for someone, like shaving the head bald. Locks can be a sign of confidence and a sign of covering. Some people wear them for a trend or because they have reached a certain age. Some wear locks because they are low maintenance and grow rapidly. There is no one right way to wear them, and no one right reason.
they do not originate with rastafarianism, with respect rastas have furthured dread culture but they originated thousands of years before jah
dreads originated with mans origons
so at the basic core dreads symbolize a natural mystic a person who embraces the natural state of being
micro braids are better in many ways. with micro braids, you can actually style them as you want but with kinky twist you can't really do anything with them but put them in a ponytail. So i would pick micro braids over kinky twists
Yes, Their Are Locs Made Of Human Hair
Conditioning your hair after you wash it helps to keep your strands healthy. It helps to tame it and make it more manageable. It adds to the natural moisture and gives shine, spring and intensity. Not conditioning your hair after washing is like not adding fabric softener to the wash. No matter what your hair texture is or whether your hair is healthy or not, you need to condition.

They don't wash there hair because it takes the dread locks apart. The water sinks in then takes out all the material that holds the dreads together.
4b 2b type hair curly type so the twist will stay in
Comb you hair when it's wet or moist or damp and conditioned, and go in small sections from whichever direction you prefer.
Afros can be any size so long as they are the proper texture and are properly managed. You do not need floor length hair to have an afro; it can be low to your head, but not too low lest you simply have a fade.
Interlocking is a great method for locking hair. Sisterlocs trademark locs and other thin locs often use this method because it makes the locs stronger. You do not need much product and interlocking works on most hair textures.
