You can, there's nothing about spotting that would effect the outcome of the pregnancy test or stop you from being able to take a pregnancy test. You can use a pregnancy test from two weeks after sex.

Will you get pregnant while on your period?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Yes, you can have your period when you are pregnant. Matter of fact it runs in my family. My mom did not know that she was pregnant with me until she was 5 months along, and her tummy was starting to stick out. She had normal periods, they just lasted the 4 days instead of 5. She had no signs at all. My Mom had at least 2 to 3 periods with my Sister's and Brother, before she found out that she was pregnant. My sister has her period for up to 3 to 4 months as well. There was a friend of my Sister that did not know that she was pregnant until she was 8 months along, and she had her periods every month on time for the same about of time. She did not show either. But the best thing to do is wait for a few months and see what happends. If you start to get other signs, then it might be a good idea to go and see the doctor.

There is a condition called placenta privea that is basically where the placenta is trying to pull away from the uterus. It may cause bleeding which happened to me at 5 months but it can be monitered and usually an ultrasound will be performed later in the pregnancy to determine if the placenta is blocking the cervix complicating vaginal delivery. If left untreated it can cause death.Any bleeding needs to be checked out by your doctor.

Your first signs of pregnancy most commonly include: * missed period * tender/swollen breasts * change in color of the breasts * fatigue * nausea/vomiting * increased sense of smell * weight gain Here is a link to a website that will calculate the probability of your pregnancy: http://www.thepregnancytest.com/

Yes. I had friend bleed almost all the way through two pregnancies. You should immediately seek medical attention to make sure that it isn't anything serious, because it could be a separation of the placenta or something very bad. See your doctor immediately.

Do you get more drunk whilst having your period?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

No, drink (alcoholic) doesn't effect you more when you're on your period. Obviously as always it's a good idea to watch not to drink too much, during menstruation there's a risk of accidental leaks or accidentally leaving tampons in for too long if you get too drunk.

How many pins does an RJ-45 patch cable or crossover cable have?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

One. RJ-45 is a specification for a certain style of connector.

There are several TYPES of RJ-45 connector and the differences in them are in regards to the types of cable to be used in them. Some examples are, "Stranded wire" to be used with stranded (more flexible) conductors, "Solid Conductor" to be used to terminate cables with a solid wire and "Universal" which may work on either.

The specific difference in them is in the spades that are designed to cut through the insulator and provide a mechanical connection with the conductor inside upon crimping. While the "Stranded" specific type has more of a flat blade design, the "Solid" specific spades are designed with three "fingers" which straddle the solid conductor on both sides and the Universal spade is somewhat of a hybrid between the two.

From my experiences, the only real problem arises when you try to use a stranded version RJ-45 on a solid conductor wire. When this is done, the solid spade simply skips off to one side of the solid conductor after it pierces the insulator. While this may very well be touching the connector and providing a connection at first, any flex or age leads to a very intermittent connection at best and you'll be troubleshooting this connection in very little time.

I've not had a problem using the other versions on the other types of cables: Universal on either or Solid spade on stranded wire.

What is a crossover cable?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It's a type of computer cable where some of the strands inside are "crossed over" compared to a "straight through" cable. You only need a crossover cable if you are connecting a computer directly to another computer. If you are connecting a computer to any other device like a switch, or a router, then you use a straight through cable, which are easier to find and cheaper. You can google for a crossover cable and it will show you a picture of which pins are crossed over.

My period is nine days late and I've taken four pregnancy tests in the past month and they all came back negative Help?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

That happened with me with my second daughter. I took four of the store brand tests, and they were all negative. I spent the extra money and got one of the more expensive ones, and it came back positive. Try switching brands and see what happens. If you still aren't sure, go ahead and make a doc appointment. In truth though, even if you aren't pregnant, if you are really stressed over the possibility, it can cause your body to keep delaying your period.
