With age, I've learned to really appreciate modern art, so much in fact that almost no classical art touches me anymore. But Andy Warhol... I just don't see it. I don't see why his "art" is art. I don't see what his message is, well apart from saying "look around you: you are worshipping all sorts images", which is totally "duh, you didn't need to tell me that, I knew". I don't see why anybody would pay more than $100 for a piece of his work. I don't see why he is a legend. I don't even see why he is famous. I don't see anything special. At all.

Research! Here's a mini Bio I wrote... Born Andrew Warhola, August 6, 1928, in the industrial city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Andy Warhol is best known for his exploration of Pop Art, mass producing images of mass produced objects. His most famous works depicted Campbell's soup cans. Enlarged, hand-painted or silkscreened, framed, and hung in an art gallery, Warhol succeeded in turning these mundane images into ironic "art". Warhol experimented in media such as film, sculpture, paint, and silkscreen, but perhaps his greatest work was his invention of himself as an international celebrity and pop culture icon.
Most art stores will be able to source Andy Warhol prints. However they can be easily purchased on line from websites including Art, All Posters and Art Republic. Red Bubble can even offer t-shirts and handkerchiefs with the famous images on them.

This is purely subjective. It is for every viewer to decide what is best.
