i am in 5th grade and i had an assignment saying the metaphor a worldwind of activity. I asked my teacher what that ment and she said it means there is a lot going on like a comotion.

Answer 1:

No, The movie and video proof clearly shows that "Nighmare" (the Raping demon) Raped her and killed her. If this video proof is actually accurate all of the things i just said are true.

The footage from the tapes were never completely looked at. A scene where the TV came on by itself and a table moves shortly after is never questioned, nor is it even looked at or brought up. The cameras are going all the time but in the case where the Doctor is killed, we only see him after the fact.

All the other footage we see something occurring right as it happens. The sisters room has a cam in the closet, yet we never see what was on it before the apparent killing. We hear Samantha screaming, her brother screaming, calling out her name. She is never screaming his name, nor is she screaming "stop" or anything in defense, she is clearly terrified. We see her covered in blood, and then the next we see her completely cleaned up with what looks like a rather big scratch or stab wound in her chest.

So if Thomas Finley actually did murder his sister, he was clever enough to cover it up with splotchy footage.

He was careful to set the stage and document everything about their feelings and the things supposedly going on in the house, to make anyone watching believe that there was some sort of evil presence in the house. If he did kill her he could easily blame it on the entity and try using the footage as evidence that something else did the dirty work.

But again, the camera that was in Samantha's room where we find her screaming, is never shown to be on before the time of the attack, so we are left to guess. We hear him running into the room and certainly she is alive at that point and then dead the next. But again, the only camera running is the one Thomas is holding which he drops and then we hear her screaming suddenly stop.

If we want to answer whether or not he killed her we need to see the camera that was in her room, and the one in the living room where the doctor was found and see the entire thing because that footage is conveniently left out.

A killer who wants us to believe that something else did this will go out of his way to prove it. But this doesn't and is also amateur footage, and two key points are left out and up to us to guess. I would say he did it. wanted us to believe that something else did it, but the camera's weren't rolling when the doc dies, and the camera wasn't rolling in his sisters room at the time just before her attack. Convenient omissions.

I personally think the reason why so much was left out is because the scenes could have been WAY too gruesome for the public to see and the police or whoever found the tapes in the attic thought that these scenes on the cameras of the living room and Samantha's bedroom closet were in fact too gruesome for the public to view.

Paranormal entity is actual live footage released against the authorities wishes, thomas and Samantha finley are real people, and the movie is categorized as reality. they are actual tapes showing the disturbing footage of the grisly house held events and the "murder" of 19 year old Samantha. the police had came and investigated the scene, where they found the young girl, bloodied, scratched and beaten, in her terrified brothers arms. And at the time, the cause of death was a mystery, she had no scratch wounds deep enough to cause any internal injury, it was as if her heart was forcibly stopped. After thomas was arrested on 2 counts of murder, the police came back to investigate more, it was then The tapes were found in the attic. After the tapes were looked over, they were stored away and labeled as, "the finley "murder" tapes", they were supposed to have never been seen again, until a few people working within the investigation, handed copies of the tapes over the the asylum company, for a "small" fee of course. Some of the footage was cut out, as it would have been too gruesome, to have showed the tapes of the young girl getting raped and injured by an unknown entity, and the paranormal investigator getting killed. Shortly after his arrest, the cops refused to believe such tapes, as it was too much for them to bear, and proceeded with charging thomas with the murders, who shortly after, killed himself in the prison cell he was held in. And the mother, knowing her two children had died, killed herself in the ward she was in. It's things like this that just go to show you, you shouldn't mess with spirits. paranormal activity however, was entirely fictional.

Pinky24: I do believe that their was something in the house. It is clear with the footage that their was something tormenting the people in the house mostly the sister. The table moving, the mother waking up and not knowing what she is doing, the foot prints on the ceiling, the constant screaming of Sam because she was being attacked. If Thomas was faking all of this I think that is EXTREMELY unlikely. People do not like to believe that there are evil entities in this world well WAKE UP people there are and some of them hate us for some reason maybe its because we are alive and they aren't or maybe in real life they were NUTS to begin with. Look at the facts THOMAS DIDN'T KILL HIS SISTER! That is just ridiculous to think so! Cameras were set up for the purpose to prove that there was something there tormenting them... and it WAS in fact proven and now he sits in jail to rot because of an entity that killed his little sister... Let the man out he lost his entire family and I am sure being in jail does not help him to move forward in life.... People that don't believe get a LIFE!

yelloflash2: in my opinion i believe that thomas finley did not kill his sister cause during the end she is floating in the air covered in blood then the next time we see her she is on the ground and clean besides the cut on her chest. also in one part of the tapes it showes that there where foot prints on the ceiling and then the door closes. also when thomas was in the house alone it showes him getting chased and the trip wire comes off the wall and hit him and when the door closes you hear banging on the door repedaly. also during one part of the tape you hear the mother come home with samatha scared and tells thomas that the entity grabed samatha and pulled her off the bed. well that's my opinion i believe it is real and don't mess with the paronormal stuff even if you do think what you know you shouldn't mess with it.

lkhanson74: Are you all nuts??? At the very end of the credits, did you not read that this was all fiction and not real? Watch it again and then scroll to the very end of the credits. READ! While I really enjoyed the film, I must say it was very well done to make the film appear to be reality. While you read and assume the story is taken from a real incident, you will find that maybe 5% is the real story. Take the Exorcism of Emily Rose. Great detective horror film based on a real event. Very little of the event was used. The real story is based on a catholic family in Germany. There is a film made in Germany that tells the real story. The two are nothing alike.


alijoee1994: and did anybody notice when the phone is ringing after he was chased that when he picked it up, that the phone was not lit up? that is what ruined it for me and the ringtone that they had iPhone does not have!

If You Guys Watched Till The VERY End, It Said That All The Events Were Fictitious. It Was Just A Different Story That Some Director Came Up With To Fit The Crime.


Kiethcr: Yea guys, if you actually believed that all of this footage was real then you need to take another look at the movie. Another thing besides the obvious fact that it says the whole movie was a fictitious rendering is the fact that it ACTUALLY HAS A DIRECTOR!! If these tapes were real property of the county police (I can't recall the county's name at this moment) then it wouldn't have a director, let alone an entire credits reel. Think it through people.

some of it was different, around 95% was. but i can tell you it was a real story. I know I lived next door. I was there when they moved in, and i was there when the police took them out.
so yes the story is real. The movie maybe 95% There were some odd thing with that house from the time the last people moved out.
in yes, the last owner's farther had died in that house from old age.
do not ask from the address. The old house was tore down and a new house sits there to day.



Cntry Grl: Regardless of whether or not this movie is real or not or a movie made up to play off of something real..Why hasn't anyone addressed the fact that his sister was not scared of him in anyway shape or form. She was always calling out to thomas for help. I don't believe that there was any shotty footage done to cover up what "he had done". I don't think thomas killed nor attacked sam.

And as others have posted how was there footsteps of ash all over the walls and ceiling. And why did she get pulled off the bed in the hotel and attacked at the hotel if it was all thomas when he stayed home alone. And yes he was even attacked minorly when he was home alone. No some of the story doesn't seem clear because obviously they didn't show every detail of everything for the very reason all has said being that it would have been to gruesome for public viewing.

But what ya'll don't seem to understand or address is if it was thomas attacking his sister she woulda been terrified of him from the very start and not calling to him for help when she was being attacked. And how do you explain her in the air one min before she died then the next not? Also I don't think sam would have let thomas help her when she was in the bathtub completely naked trying to help her with whatever was hurting her. And how do you explain the banging on the door when the entity was attacking thomas when he was home alone. Ya'll need to address those facts especially the one of sam not being afraid of her brother and calling to him for help! But someone does need to set the story straight!!!! Cause everyone obviously has there own conclusion and thoughts of it all. But somewhere it deffinately has to be a real story for a lot people to point out more so that it is then it's not from what I've read up on. Just my opinion. But really if it was thomas then why wasn't sam ever running from her own brother!?!?!?
