Malays give green packets, also known as 'angpow', to younger Malays as a gesture of blessing and good luck during special occasions such as weddings, Eid al-Fitr, and other festive celebrations. The green color symbolizes prosperity, fertility, and growth. The packets usually contain money, which is seen as a symbolic gift to help the recipient start a new chapter in their life or to bless them with good fortune.
The answer depends on to which country you are returning.
It depends on the laws of the country you are entering.
They have a wide variety of food places in Punta Cana Resorts. they have Mexican, Chinese, Italian, French, etc. They also have American foods and local foods, like fish. But be advised that the "American" food can be very disappointing. Consider, for example, a "pizza" with asparagus and chicken on it (ugh!). Do try the native Dominican food - it is excellent, most especially the paella, which has to be tasted to be believed!
I am going on holiday for 3 weeks to the UK - what is my tobacco allowance for my holiday
To become a Customs Officer you will have to take the Civil Services Examination which provides entry into 27 different services including the Indian Customs & Central Excise Services. Customs Department is one of the two main tax collecting departments of the government whose function is divided into two broad areas:
The control of imported and exported goods for the purpose of duty, statistics and checks for entry of prohibited and restricted goods, especially smuggled drugs.

HMRC States
You don't pay duty or tax on goods you bring in from the European Union (EU) as long as you:
transport them yourself
will use them yourself or give them away as a gift
have paid duty and tax in the country where you bought them
Cigarettes 800
Cigars 200
Cigarillos 400
Tobacco 1kg
Anything above these amounts will lead to Customs asking questions
When entering the United States, you can't bring with you any kind of plants, fruits, vegetables or any other kind of organic matter (seeds, soil samples, sandwiches, etc.). Only canned and vacuum-packed foods are allowed. You can bring with you up to 5 litres (1.32 gallons) of alcoholic beverages, but if you surpass the specified quantity, you will have to pay a fee due to import rights.
If you don't declare any of these when entering the United States and the customs officer finds out, the items will be confiscated an you can get a fine that can cost you much more than the actual price of the item.
The amount of alcohol you can bring into the USA duty free is 1250ml bottle of spirit, as at June 2009. The amount NOT duty free will depend on where you are going as determined by CBP, however, you may be subjected to duty and taxes.
Additional quantities may be entered, although they will be subject to duty and IRS taxes.
Duty is generally 3% of value and the IRS excise tax is generally between 21-31cents per 750ml bottle of wine, 67 cents/ champagne, and $2.14/ hard liquor.
It is not legal for travelers under the age of 21 to import alcohol - even as a gift.
The total amount of alcohol you may enter the country with is primarily determined by the laws of the state where you will arrive back into the U.S. Each state's ABC board (or equivalent ) sets the amount of alcohol a person may bring into the state without a license or permit from that state. Travelers must check with the appropriate state ABC board, as the amounts vary from state to state. We regret that we are unable to provide this information, but CBP staff is not able to maintain information about each of the 50 State's various requirements.
There is no federal limit on the amount of alcohol a traveler may import into the U.S. for personal use, however, large quantities might raise the suspicion that the importation is for commercial purposes, and a CBP officer could require the importer to obtain an TTB import license (which is required for all commercial importations) before releasing it. If you do intend to travel with a large quantity of alcohol, we suggest you contact the entry branch of the port you will be entering the country through to discuss your situation in advance.
Duty rates on alcoholic beverages can be obtained in Chapter 22, "Beverages, Spirits and Vinegar," in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule. Alcoholic beverages purchased in duty-free shops are subject to duty when you bring them with you into the United States.
As far as I know, there is no limit on how much cash you can carry on a domestic flight. The only catch that I know of is that anything over $10,000 must be declared. My only advice would be not to carry more than you are willing to lose. Could be dangerous depending on where you're heading. Sometimes the "bad guys" aren't so obvious! Just an FYI, if you're traveling to Alaska, you might be subject to the $10,000 limit on International travel because most flights heading that way travel through Canadian air space and may be subject to Customs. Not sure about the difference in rules, if any, for Hawaii or U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands etc. Websites like www.tsa.gov and/or www.travel.state.gov are likely a better resource for this type of information than good ole' Wiki.
As of December 2009, according to HM Revenue and Customs you can bring the following tobacco products into the UK without declaring them:A,B
From EU Countries: A
An unlimited amount of tobacco products "on which tax has been paid in an EU country". However you must be able to prove it is for personal use only. Otherwise excise duty is payable.
The HM Revenue and Customs website states that:
"You are particularly likely to be asked questions if you have more than: 3200 cigarettes, 200 cigars, 400 cigarillos, 3kg tobacco"
NB: A
"If you are caught selling alcohol or tobacco goods they may be seized, and for a serious offence you could get up to seven years in prison."
From Non EU Countries: B
You can bring the following amounts of tobacco back without declaring them or paying duty:
"200 cigarettes; or 100 cigarillos; or 50 cigars; or 250g of tobacco."
NB: this is a summary of the rules as listed on the HM Revenue and Customs site. As such there are more specific intructions and rules depending on the specific country you are travelling from. PLEASE see the related links for the most up to date information.
These rules are liable to be updated at any point. Again, please check the related links for the most up to date information.

UK customs stats that 1 person may bring the following tobacco based products back from Spain:
3200 cigarettes - 400 cigarillos - 200 cigars - 3 kg of smoking tobacco
obviously there must be some method by which a combination of these items may be disallowed but that i am unsure of.
Officially you do not have to pay any duty on tobacco bought, with tax paid, in another EU country. Though there are certain restriction with some, Estonia for instance and with some island territories. Check this carefully.
There is no limit if it is bought for personal use or as gifts and you have carried it yourself.
However, HM Customs are likely to ask you questions if you have more than 3 Kgs. Tobacco usually comes in a pouch of 50 gm and in 'sleeves' or packages of 10, therefore you should be able to carry 6 'sleeves' with no problems.
If you cannot convince them it is for personal use then they will confiscate it.
You can appeal, but this can be a lengthy process, by which time the tobacco will have been destroyed. You can ask for compensation but this involves litigation, which can be expensive.
Similar restrictions are place on cigarettes, cigars and alcohol.
The Customs officials will ask questions if you have a van full or a boot/trunk full or an attempt has been made to hide it.
Check with your local duty-free shoppe to determine whether or not the border you are crossing allows diamonds to be purchased duty free.
There is no standard.
