An Omnivore
Biology terms: a secondary consumer and a tertiary consumer (third and fourth trophic levels) eat other animals.
In human terms, anyone who shops at Mac Donalds.
Giraffes are primary consumers, as they eat producers, the various plants, leaves, and shrubs which compose their diet. They do not produce their own energy, nor do they eat consumers.
Energy is transferred in a food chain. It starts with plants absorbing energy from the sun. It is then transferred up through the food chain by animals that eat plants which are, in turn, eaten by carnivore's.
yes it is
Definately a consumer. Producers are plants, decomposers are things like worms, bacteria etc. If you think about the names, they're easy to remember. And if you want to know what trophic level they'll be, well, it depends on the diagram but they'll be a high trophic, most likely the top. If you haven't done trophic levels... ignore that last bit. Hope I helped!
