The movie was 'The Seven Little Foys' at the Friars Club. Wonderful dance routine.
Of his almost 200 films at least half of them were westerns. Compared to movie actors today, who average about 30 to 40 films in a lifetime if they are lucky, Wayne surpasses them many times over. Early in his career Wayne was cranking out a movie a week in B-westerns and low budget serials. Add that to the longevity of his career it's no wonder he has so many film credits.

Even though his son's army buddy described James Jr. as a really nice guy, apparently the kids didn't live up to Cagney Sr.'s idea of perfection. When his son preceded him in death, all he could come up with for a tribute was that Jr. was "a jack of all trades, and master of none."
Cagney's obituary in the NY Times states, "He did not smoke and rarely drank liquor."

I've done some research on how tall James Cagney was. My source said that Cagney was 5'5'' and that with elevator shoes on he was about 5'7'' to 5'8''.
