What job can a 14 year old do at Chick-Fil-A?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

what can i do at the age of 14 for chick-fil-A? Many tasks consist of maintaing a clean work environment, getting drinks, making milkshakes/ice cream, taking out the trash and getting things to stock the front counter. They don't let the younger employees do bigger duties because a lot of them include climbing on ladders, counting money, and being around the grill. They don't want to put you in danger. It's a great place to work! However, I'm not sure if they are still hiring at 14. My former manager said that minimum wage was going up and it wouldn't be right for people with their first job to start out at $7.25. But go for it....!

How much does the average Chick-Fil-A franchise?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Chick-Fil-A franchises cost $10,000 (it used to be $5,000, but has recently changed).

You also have to commit to being a hands-on manager, being there all the time, and make it through a very strict application process. They only select a small portion of those who apply.

Chick-Fil-A (CFA) does not allow absentee franchisees. You MUST be there, in the shop, everyday (except Sundays; all CFAs are closed on Sundays by contract) in person.

CFA's franchise program is designed for people who REALLY want to work for themselves, and have precious little experience doing so. They hold your hand on everything. They'll even dictate the location of your shop. If you find such micromanagement to be infuriating, I would suggest walking on by. On the other hand, if you're poor, honest, resourceful, learn quickly on the job, and can scratch together the money to get in, then CFA just might be the shop for you.

Is Chick-fil-A open on Sundays?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

This quotation is from Wikipedia;

Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy is a devout Southern Baptist who has taught Sunday School for over 44 years and whose religious beliefs permeate the company to this day. The company's official statement of corporate purpose says that the business exists "to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A." The chain invests heavily in community services (especially for children and teenagers) and scholarships. Cathy's beliefs are also responsible for one of the chain's distinctive features: All Chick-fil-A locations (company-owned and franchised, whether in a mall or freestanding) are closed on Sundays. " Our decision to close on Sunday was our way of honoring God and directing our attention to things more important than our business. If it took seven days to make a living with a restaurant, then we needed to be in some other line of work. Through the years, I have never wavered from that position. " S. Truett Cathy

Is Chick-Fil-A icedream a frozen custard?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Frozen Custard is an ice cream that has to, by USDA definition, contain 1.4% egg yolks. A true frozen custard is a very dense and smooth dessert. It is produced in a very specific type of ice cream machine - a continuous freezer as opposed to a batch freezer (for gelatos and more traditional ice creams) or soft serve machines (which work in a different way). The secret is to rapidly freeze the product and then remove it from the barrel of the machine into a storage or dipping cabinet. The amount of air that is incorporated into the finished product should be around 20% - that is the mix increases in volume by 20% from it's liquid to it's frozen state. Soft serve machines typically double the volume of product making the product extremely airy. Gelato typically has 30%-35% overrun (the increase in volume) As any ice cream mix that has 1.4% egg yolk in it cna be called a custard mix, you can use any machine to freeze it. However, you can certainly taste the difference between a true, low overrun custard and custard that is produced in a different type of machine.

Chick-fil-A, Inc. (CFA) is an American quick-service food chain, officially founded in 1967, which specializes in chicken entrees. Operating nearly 1600 stores across 39 states and the District of Columbia, Chick-fil-A is the nation's second-largest chicken-based fast food franchise. It's founder, S. Truett Cathy, is credited with inventing the first Chicken Sandwich, and the company is also known for pioneering in-mall dining and providing exceptional customer service. Chick-fil-A classics such as the Original Chicken Sandwich, Chick 'n Strips, Waffle Potato Fries, and CFA freshly-squeezed lemonade have been enjoyed by American consumers for over 43 years. Chick-fil-A reminds its guests to "Eat Mor Chickin" through the use of promotional Cows which urge customers to avoid hamburger restaurants. Just be sure to visit a CFA store before the end of the week, because Chick-fil-A has, and always will be, closed on Sundays. Chick-fil-A is currently experiencing its 44th year of consecutive sales growth and is looking to double its size by 2020.

How do you apply for a Chick-Fil-A franchise?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

$5,000 dollars!........

Yes.... that's right only $5,000 dollars is needed to buy into this franchise. Franchisees who buy into this must be dedicated though. Chick-fil-A requires that its restaurant operators be involved in the business. Chick-fil-A takes 15% of sales from the top to cover national marketing, and general upkeep of the brand and then 50% of profits each month, thus the reason the buy-in is so inexpensive. While this may seem like a bad deal, many Chick-fil-A operators make $200K/ year or more. Not such a bad deal at all!
