You can only drain it and not fill it unless you have a pump and know exactly how much you took out so you can replace it with the exact amount. It is not recommended to replace it yourself. There are many places that would change it for $100 or so.
Contact your dealer to get radio code. All radio codes ar vin specfic. The dealers will ask you for your vin.
W - Winter driving / slows down the RPM's

I have a 2005 CLK 320. Roll bars deployed on a bump with the top up. Here's how to fix it: There is a reset port about 12 in below each headrest. The port is hard to find, but you can actually glimpse it with good light and/or a flashlight and some head/neck contortion. When facing forward the port is on the left side of each headrest. The port is oval in shape, about 4mm x 8mm, positioned about 10 mm forward of the support post and about 5mm to its left. Essentially, its an oval hole in black sheet metal. Mercedes mentions an allen key tool included with the car, but you can use a very long screwdriver or, preferably, a metal shishkabob barbecue skewer (by far the best) to reset the mechanism. Slide the tool (skewer, screw driver or allen key) straight down along the side of the headreast and then very carefully angle the tip forward and to the left (of car) to go into the port. Again, you can see this if you try. Push down on the spring under the port and hold down while you push down (Hard) on the headrest to its full reset position. Then remove the tool. Voila!
Before the reset, the top would not go down. After the reset, no problemo.
The lighted ignition ring is held on with to retaining clips. Pry outward on each retaining ring. The lighted ignition ring will come off.
In the engine well, on the right had side as you face the car (driver's side.)
open the trunk, then remove all the plastic snap fasteners (they are all 2 piece, remove the center piece with a flathead screwdriver and then once that is out, it looks like a plastic "nail", then remove the larger piece with a flathead screwdriver because the larger piece is actually snapped into the metal). there are about 8-10 of them. once you have them out the entire "carpet like" interior piece will come loose. You can then see up into the area where the license plate bulbs are and replace them. I just did it two hours ago. open the trunk, then remove all the plastic snap fasteners (they are all 2 piece, remove the center piece with a flathead screwdriver and then once that is out, it looks like a plastic "nail", then remove the larger piece with a flathead screwdriver because the larger piece is actually snapped into the metal). there are about 8-10 of them. once you have them out the entire "carpet like" interior piece will come loose. Drain off the excess oil and top up to the correct mark.
Believe it or not, this is a common problem. I have the exact same problem with the same car. Mine was sticking closed. I was able to free it by pulling on it. By the way, the same thing happened to the extendable cup holder in the dash. It got stuck open. I lubricated it with silicon spray and it was fixed. Shine a light into the seat belt retractor hole and look for the place where it moves out to lubricate with an extender tube to the silicone spray.
I think there is with all of the 3.5 "Shortstars" I will go through about a quart every 3000 miles. Have for the 70 thousand miles I have driven my 2000 Rich
--Yes there is an issue with oil consumption with the 3.5-liter. I have seen and heard of average consumptions to be as much as 1 quart per 1,000 miles.
Well you definatly need to get your trunk open before you can see whats going on with the top.
you will need to make sure that the partition cover in the trunk is pulled forward and latched into the switch, the soft top will not open if that is not latched.
This question is asked many times by Mercedes Benz owners. There are many examples given in online videos and in chat sites. The answer varies with the model and year of the car. The very best way to achieve this goal is to go to a Mercedes Benz dealer and ask them to do it.
