3. Pablo Picasso was a painter, sculptor and potter. He made thousands of works of art and created many different styles. One of the 'different styles' were cubism.
4. Between 1901 and 1904 Pablo spent a lot of time in Paris. A friend died and Picasso became very unhappy. He was also sad because he missed Spain.
5. After Pablo's friend died, he painted people who had difficult lives. The art work was called : 'Blue period'.
6. In 1904 Pablo met a young woman called Fernande in Paris. He was happy with her so he drew and artwork called : 'Rose Period.'.
7. Lot's of Pablo's work tells how he feels. Some of it is sad. Some of it is angry. But lots of it is happy.
8. In 1936 a civil war began in Spain. Pablo painted pictures to show how he felt about it. Pablo painted a picture of a woman crying. it shows how angry and unhappy he (Pablo) was.
9. Pablo had a new model named Jacqueline who inspired him. In 1961, aged 80, he married her.
10. Pablo Picasso died on 8th April 1973. He was 92 years old. He left us thousand of works of art. Many famous artists who followed would have learnt from him.
