Ingredients:
1 pie crust (9 inch)
3 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar (I prefer dark brown) can use either
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup corn syrup (I prefer dark) can use either
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans, broken (get some pecan halves too, for decorative purposes on top)
Whipped topping (my addition)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450F. Mix all ingredients and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 10 minutes, and reduce temperature to 350F, bake another 35 minutes.
Let cool:
suggestion: Serve with Whipped topping, sprinkle with pecan halves if desired
