You can flush almost anything from your system by drinking a lot and the use of diuretics. I use cranberry juice and stone root tea to help fight colds (you can buy it loose and make your own tea, if you buy a prepackaged tea, look on the ingredients). Stone root tastes a lot like dirt, but it is usually masked by the other herbs I use to fight colds; echinacea, mint, and chamomile. Golden Seal is effective but expensive because it is endangered. I find teas work better than synthetic diuretics or pill forms for cleansing my system. However, I suspect what you are really asking is how to get THC out of your system for a drug test.

Flushing out your system may allow your urine sample to slip by the more general, inexpensive and less accurate tests. However, be aware that these test labs will also look at other aspects of urine to try to screen out testees trying to "beat the system." They look at color, because clear or weak coloration indicates that the testee has been drinking a lot. I have never been tested; but I suspect that this means that those of us that drink the 8oz 8x per day and look for our urine to be colored lightly would be suspect! In addition, temperature is noted to spot those that may have collected a sample from someone else earlier. The final aspect that is noted is the presence of creatine (a soluble protein which will wash out of your system in the normal human body processes). Some substitutes will lack this substance.

Answer

The first sentence of this first answer is the key: "You can flush almost anything from your system by drinking a lot and the use of diuretics." You can help flush most drugs out a bit faster by drinking plenty of water. But not marijuana. Marijuana is fat soluble, not water soluble. It stores itself in your fat cells and fatty tissues. Since fatty substances are not water soluble (think about what happens when you mix oil and water) drinking liquids does nothing to remove marijuana from your system.

Normally, for daily smokers, marijuana takes anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks to leave your system, or a month on average (depending on how much body fat you have, and how much you smoke). For people who smoke a few times a week or less, the time frame would be more like 2 weeks to a month.

If you want to cleanse your system more quickly, there are also detoxifying drinks you can take. Except, they don't actually clean the THC from your system. They just mask it. I took one once (with success); it was called "Herbal Clean." You can buy them at GNC or other health stores like that. Except, they're just called detoxifying drinks or something. But if you ask the salespeople, they will usually know what you're talking about, and will find it for you.

Note that buying these drinks for the purpose of fooling a drug test is illegal. However, buying the drinks for any other reason is not illegal. So, do not say to the salespeople, "I need a drink to pass a drug test." Tell them, "I want a drink that will detoxify my system of drugs so I can get healthy." As long as you do not tell anyone that you want to pass a drug test, it is perfectly legal.

Time(anywhere between a week and a half to a month and a half)

Water and exercise help clean your system.

Exercise helps burn away the THC that has attached to fat cells.

Detox and cleasing pills can get you clean in a week or two with water and exercise.
