Setbacks come in many forms. For example you might have thought that you were due to be promoted but you didn't get that higher paying job and the promotion that went with it.

You could be deeply involved in a special job that your boss asked you to take care of. You've been working on this job for several weeks, are nearly finished and you have a car accident and can't work for months due to injuries. This I would call a major setback.

What you need to ask yourself is how would you describe a setback then perhaps you will have your answer.
